Korean Lash Lift Tutorial 🥰🫶🏻
Round or hybrid shield for better grow out? 🤨
Are your lashes constantly lifting away from the flat pad during a Lash Lift? đź‘€
Most lash artists assume the problem is the technique, the flat pad, or the client’s lashes.
But often, the issue is much simpler than that.
Think about adding chocolate chips to cake batter. 🍪
If the batter is too thin, the chocolate chips sink straight to the bottom because there isn’t enough structure to hold them in place. If the batter has the right consistency, the chocolate chips stay evenly mixed.
The same principle applies here.
In this video, we’ve compared a correctly thickened solution against one that has been left too runny.
When the consistency is right, the lashes stay more stable during positioning and are much easier to control. When the solution is too thin, lashes are far more likely to move, slide, and lift away from the flat pad.
Sometimes the smallest adjustments make the biggest difference. ✨
Have you ever struggled with lashes that won’t stay in place during a Lash Lift treatment? Let us know below 👇
Some lash artists swear by thickening powder.
Others think it’s completely unnecessary.
So who’s right? 👀
The reality is that thickening powder isn’t designed to make your Lash Lift stronger, faster or more effective.
Its only job is to change the consistency of your Step 1 and Step 2.
That’s it.
By thickening your solutions, you’re able to customise them to suit your technique, your environment and your personal preference.
Some lash artists are perfectly happy working without a thickening powder.
At Lash Oasis, we prefer using one because a thicker consistency is often easier to control and helps keep the lashes exactly where they’ve been placed throughout processing.
Less movement.
Less adjusting.
More control.
At the end of the day, thickening powder isn’t about fixing a bad product.
It’s simply a tool that allows you to customise the consistency of your solutions to work the way you want them to. ✨

Round teardrop shields aren’t the problem.
Not knowing how to use them is. đź‘€
One of the biggest myths in the Lash Lift industry is that round teardrop shields automatically create overcurled lashes that touch the eyelid.
The truth?
It depends far more on where the lashes are positioned on the shield than the shield shape itself.
⬆️ Position the lashes too high and you can create a short base, increasing the risk of lashes curving back towards the eyelid.
⬇️ Position them too low and the result can become flatter and less lifted.
The shield is only part of the equation.
Understanding shield structure and lash placement is what gives you predictable, customisable results.
At Lash Oasis, we believe Lash Lift education shouldn’t be confusing. 💛

That’s why we created a simple two-shield system designed to give you all the essential results you need during treatment, without needing hundreds of different shield shapes.
✨ Round result = Sea Shell shields
✨ Hybrid result = Candy Floss shields
Of course, this doesn’t mean other shield types don’t exist or aren’t useful. There are so many different options you can experiment with depending on your style and technique 🤍
But for the girls who want to keep their shield collection minimal while still having versatility, this system gives you all the options you actually need.
