This opportunity is ideally suited to someone who is currently studying Beauty or Nails at college and knows that nails are the career they would love to pursue.

You don’t need to be an advanced nail artist yet. We’re looking for the right person with a genuine desire to learn, develop advanced skills and grow within a professional salon environment.

I came back from my holiday noticing something I had never really thought about before: the horizon.

For two weeks, I saw it every day.

I watched where the sun rose, where it disappeared and where the moon eventually appeared. My eyes could travel for miles without being interrupted by a building, a screen, a sign or somewhere I needed to be.

Then I came home, and Reading suddenly looked incredibly busy. Of course, Reading hadn’t changed.

My perspective had.

It made me think about how much our minds and senses process every ordinary day without us even noticing. We move from one responsibility to another, one screen to another, one appointment to another.

Perhaps this is also why we have always wanted Juli Lash Studio to feel different from the world outside our doors.

Yes, you come to us for your lashes, brows or nails. But we also want that appointment to be a small piece of space in your day.

A place where someone else looks after the details. Where you can put your phone down, settle into the chair, have a cup of tea and simply allow yourself to be looked after for a while.

You don’t always need to disappear into the desert to change your perspective.

Sometimes you just need a little space.
