My client came to me with an outgrown home jobby which we needed to fix up!! We wanted some skin on the sides and behind the ears - something that’ll last my client and grow out gracefully without adding too much weight or making my client look like a 🍄‍🟫
I started off with a mid burst fade around the ears. On the back I used the feather razor to really de-bulk the weight and to add the lush flowy texture throughout the back. Tidied up the fringe and added texture through the top. Simple but effective and the before and afters speak for themselves!! 👀➡️

Corporate, Modern Mullet 🫡

My client wanted a change and needed to remove some of that bulk from around his face. (Swipe for the before➡️) We wanted to keep some length in the back but needed to reduce what was there already and make it smart, but still stylish 🤌🏽😁

I didn’t use any products as I wanted to show the versatility of the mullet. Can be worn subtly but smart with 0 products or I would have used Short Back & Vibes Colombian texture powder to enhance the texture and to create the messy textured mullet look we all know I love 😌

High Fade 🤝 Italian Beard Fade

Beautiful combo if I do say so myself 🤌🏽🇮🇹

My client has previously buzzed his hair so wanted to grow the top so I just faded in the sides nice and high. He was going on holiday for a few days and said his beard was annoying him so I offered the ‘Italian beard’ style.

Chopped off the side burns and began the fade from the bottom of the ear going diagonally from the corner of his jaw upwards.

Very happy with the result 😮‍💨

Wish I took a before of this trim!

My client came to me with super long grown out hair on top which was weighing down all the rest of his hair and leaving the hair looking lifeless and flat😔🫩🪦

Dr Becci Barber to the rescue 🥼💈 🤗

I decided to scissor cut his hair as his end goal is to end up with a longer wolf cut eventually so we didn’t want to lose the growth progress he’d already made.

I lightly trimmed the back and sides and razored the ends off to create feathering and weightless texture.

On top, my client liked the longer fringe but we both knew we needed to get rid of the length from the crown area. I point cut a goooooood chunk from this area to create a longer, textured flow to frame the face but not weigh down the fringe.

Lots of thinning shears and razoring but not a lot of length came off at all - but the end result looks completely different!
A nice ‘in-between styles trim’ which maintained the length for his future wolf cut but tidied it up nicely without butchering his progress 🤗
