💚 Day 1 at the QE today, done ✔️ back in Monday and Tuesday. Thank you so much everyone for all the good wishes, it's been so comforting hearing from you all.
💚 I had a Methylprednisolone Infusion for Deep Circumferential Morphea. My mobility and pain has been worsening and this treatment is going to halt the progression of this rare autoimmune disease I was recently diagnosed with.
💚 I'm home now, resting up, under Dr's orders and all okay, just feeling very tired and achy, but that could be down to just travelling there and back too.

🌺 It's been a long time since I did a thoughtful Thursday post, but I wanted to share this. I have missed walking so much, something we just take for granted. This is such a lovely picture and gives me hope for my treatment starting tomorrow, I can't wait to be able to walk round the golf course again or walk into town on a Sunday morning.

🌻 I am going into the QE Hospital on Friday to start infusions, home for the weekend, but then back in hospital Monday and Tuesday the following week. This is to recieve treatment to calm the active inflammation and prevent permanent tissue damage and loss of mobility from Deep Circumferential Morphea, that I was recently diagnosed with.

🌻 August is always a difficult month, it will be the 3rd year anniversary of Steve's passing this year. So I will be taking the time off to rest and recover after my treatment, if it could of come at a good time, this is it.

🌻 Just doing my morning mooch around the garden, the sunflowers seem to grow through the night! Then on closer inspection I notice that one of the unopened heads of the sunflowers is MISSING! What on earth has happened? It's like it's been snapped clean off, no remnants left behind?

🌻 Has anyone had this happen before???
