Natural doesn’t always mean better.
This might surprise you…
One of the biggest myths in skincare is that natural ingredients are automatically safer or more effective.
They aren’t.
As a nurse, I don’t choose products because they’re labelled “natural”. I choose ingredients backed by evidence and proven to create real change.
Active ingredients like retinol, vitamin C, niacinamide, azelaic acid and peptides have one purpose: to improve your skin. Whether that’s reducing pigmentation, stimulating collagen, calming acne or strengthening the skin barrier, we know what they do because they’ve been extensively researched.
Natural ingredients have their place too.
Ingredients like oat, aloe vera and green tea can soothe, calm and support the skin. They’re fantastic for maintaining healthy skin or helping a compromised skin barrier recover.
But if your goal is to treat acne, pigmentation, fine lines or skin ageing, natural ingredients alone are unlikely to deliver the results you’re looking for.
That said, I don’t always recommend active ingredients.
If your skin is inflamed, sensitised or your barrier is damaged, more isn’t better. Sometimes the best treatment is to pause the actives, repair the skin first, then reintroduce them gradually.
Do you actively look for natural ingredients when buying skincare, or have you learnt that there’s more to it than that - tell me in the comments 🤎
Some days are for glowing skin… and some days are for chocolate-covered smiles.
Today was all about making memories with my little girl at Cadbury World. No clinic, no consultations, no treatment plans… just laughter, adventure and probably far too much chocolate.
I love what I do, but being able to switch off and spend quality time with my daughter is just as important. These moments don’t last forever, and they’ll always mean more than another day at work.
Thank you for following along with both the business and the life behind it. I hope you enjoy coming on our little adventure with us.
Now tell me… what’s your favourite Cadbury chocolate? 🍫
Your 30s are when your skin starts asking for more than just a good cleanser.
If you’ve started noticing fine lines that weren’t there before, your skin looks dull no matter how much you sleep, or your makeup doesn’t sit as smoothly as it used to… you’re not imagining it.
This is often the decade when collagen production declines more noticeably. Cell turnover slows, hydration decreases, and the first signs of sun damage and ageing begin to show.
This isn’t the time to chase every trend on social media.
It’s the time to be consistent.
If I were in my 30s, I’d focus on:
• Wearing SPF every single day to protect the collagen I still have and prevent further UV damage.
• Introducing a retinoid to encourage collagen production and improve skin texture.
• Using antioxidants like Vitamin C to defend against environmental damage and brighten the complexion.
• Prioritising hydration to keep the skin barrier healthy and resilient.
• Investing in professional skin treatments that stimulate collagen and improve skin quality rather than simply masking concerns.
Your 30s are where prevention and correction meet. The choices you make now can significantly influence how your skin looks in your 40s and 50s.
Healthy, glowing skin isn’t about having a 10-step routine or buying every product that’s gone viral.
It’s about understanding your skin, using ingredients that are backed by science, and having a plan that’s tailored to you.
Your future skin is being created by the decisions you make today.
What has been the biggest change you’ve noticed in your skin since turning 30?
This works well as a Reel caption or carousel and naturally encourages comments while positioning you as the trusted expert.
If I could go back to my 20s knowing what I know now as an aesthetic nurse, I’d do things very differently.
I wouldn’t be buying every viral skincare product or following every trend that popped up on social media.
Instead, I’d focus on protecting my skin.
Because the truth is, your 20s are when you’re building the foundation for the skin you’ll have in your 30s, 40s and beyond.
Collagen production starts to slow, and every day your skin is exposed to UV damage, pollution and lifestyle factors that gradually accelerate ageing. You may not see it now, but your skin remembers.
Here’s what I’d prioritise:
• SPF every single day to protect collagen, prevent pigmentation and reduce premature ageing.
• A simple, consistent skincare routine with evidence-based ingredients rather than a bathroom shelf full of products that promise miracles.
• Professional skin advice tailored to my skin instead of copying influencers with completely different skin concerns.
• Looking after my skin before problems appear, because prevention will always give better long-term results than trying to reverse years of damage.
You don’t need the latest trend.
You need consistency.
You need science.
You need a plan that’s right for your skin.
The best investment you can make in your skin isn’t the product that’s gone viral this week—it’s creating healthy habits that your future self will thank you for.
Are you protecting your skin now, or trying to fix it later?
If you’d like, I can also make this more viral with a stronger hook and higher engagement psychology for Instagram.

The most overlooked area when it comes to ageing… your neck.
You can invest in skincare, anti-wrinkle treatments and facials, but if your neck is showing crepey skin, fine lines or loss of firmness, it can reveal your true age.
Can you notice the difference? Comment below or tap the heart if you can.
Polynucleotides are one of the most exciting regenerative treatments available. They don’t add volume or change the way you look. Instead, they work by encouraging your skin to repair itself, stimulating collagen and elastin production, improving hydration and restoring healthier, stronger skin from within.
This treatment is perfect if you:
• Have fine lines or wrinkles on the neck
• Notice loose or crepey skin
• Feel your neck no longer matches the youthful appearance of your face
• Want natural-looking rejuvenation without looking “done”
• Want to improve skin quality and slow future ageing
The neck is one of the most missed areas in an anti-ageing routine, yet it’s often the area that shows your true age. Giving it the same attention as your face can make a remarkable difference to your overall appearance.
Healthy skin isn’t just about your face—it’s about creating harmony from your forehead to your décolletage.

You’re treating the symptom… not the cause.
If you’re spending hundreds on skincare but skipping professional treatments…
Or having injectables without looking after your skin…
You’re making it much harder to achieve the results you actually want.
The biggest mistake I see?
People think there’s one treatment that will make them look younger.
There isn’t.
Healthy, youthful skin comes from combining THREE things:
• Medical-grade skincare that protects, repairs and supports your skin every single day.
• In-clinic skin treatments that improve skin quality, stimulate collagen and correct damage.
• Carefully planned aesthetic treatments that restore balance, soften ageing and enhance your natural features.
When these work together, your skin doesn’t just look better for a few weeks. It becomes healthier, stronger and more resilient over time.
Ageing starts long before you notice wrinkles.
Collagen declines.
Sun damage builds up.
Skin becomes thinner.
Pigmentation develops.
Lines become harder to reverse.
The earlier you start protecting your skin, the easier it is to maintain natural, beautiful results.
Watch my reel to discover my top 3 tips for healthier, younger-looking skin and why combining all three is the secret most people are missing.
Ready to stop chasing quick fixes and invest in long-term results? Send me a message with the word SKIN and let’s create a treatment plan that’s tailored to you.

Undereye Polynucleotides – A True Game Changer.
Just look at these results, AFTER ONE SESSION!
Brighter. Fresher. Younger-looking eyes without adding volume or changing your natural features.
If you avoid photos because your eyes always look tired…
If people ask if you’re exhausted when you’ve had a full night’s sleep…
If concealer settles into fine lines instead of hiding them…
This treatment is designed for you.
The delicate under-eye area is often one of the first places to show signs of ageing. As collagen declines, the skin becomes thinner, darker and more creased. Polynucleotides work differently to filler. They stimulate your skin to repair itself from within, improving skin quality, elasticity and hydration over time for naturally refreshed results.
You may be a suitable candidate if you have:
• Dark circles caused by thin, ageing skin
• Crepey or wrinkled under-eyes
• Loss of skin quality
• Tired-looking eyes despite feeling well
• Early signs of ageing
• Previous filler that isn’t giving the improvement you hoped for (following assessment)
Treatment protocol
For the best results, treatment is usually performed every 3–4 weeks for an initial course of 3 sessions. Some clients may benefit from additional treatments depending on the condition of their skin, which will be discussed during your consultation. Once your desired result is achieved, maintenance treatments help preserve your improvement.
This isn’t about looking different.
It’s about looking in the mirror and recognising yourself again—rested, refreshed and confident.
Book your consultation today and let’s create a personalised treatment plan to restore the eye area naturally.
