Not many people have heard of TMJ/TMD, yet it can be more common than you think.

Recently, I’ve had two clients come to me with tight necks alongside tooth and gum sensitivity, and I asked them:

“Could your jaw be playing a part?”

We often think of dental problems as being purely about the teeth and gums, but jaw tension, clenching and grinding can sometimes contribute to symptoms elsewhere too.

If some sound familiar, it may be worth mentioning them to your dentist or an appropriately trained healthcare professional.

As a spa therapist, I DO NOT treat TMJ/TMD, it requires appropriate clinical assessment and a specialist trained therapist.

So please research who you will use. I personally go to Invigor Massage Therapy for my TMJ and they work wonders for me, but they might not be right for you, so always research.

Sometimes, the source of the problem isn't quite where you expect it to be. ❤️

Hello to all my lovely clients ❤️

Just a little update to let you know that, from mid-September 2026, I will be closing at 2:30pm every Tuesday so that I can spend some much-needed family time with my family.

Due to Frankie’s gymnastics schedule changing, Tuesdays are now the one evening of the week where we can all be home as a family and sit down to enjoy dinner together.

For almost two years, this simply hasn’t been possible because of clubs, work, and all the bits that come with having a blended family. So, being able to have this one evening together again is incredibly precious to me. ❤️👨‍👩‍👦‍👦

The Stuido will still be OPEN the remainder of the week, so please DO NOT PANIC, I am not going anywhere 💆‍♀️

July's diary is a little all over the place, as it's my daughter's last three weeks of primary school, and it's absolutely packed with events and assemblies.

Whatever happened to the days of just a leavers' play? 🤣 Frankie's diary is crammed with so much going on!
