🚨 OFFICIAL NOTICE TO ALL QUADRANT TRADERS 🚨
Whilst undertaking extensive archive research, Phoenix Barber Co. has uncovered this stern warning from St Albans Council dated 1994.
As custodians of public safety, we feel duty-bound to remind all shopkeepers that:
❌ A-boards must not obstruct the highway
❌ Goods must not be displayed on the pavement
❌ Tables and chairs should not be placed outside premises
Failure to comply may result in:
• Removal by the authorities
• Prosecution
• Strongly worded letters
We trust all businesses will take immediate action.
Phoenix Barber Co. will, of course, be conducting compliance checks from our completely unrelated collection of tables, chairs, barrels, benches, planters, customers, dogs and assorted drinkers occupying most of the pavement outside our premises.
