This client came to me after having a failed lash lift 6 weeks ago Jade Hood

After taking into consideration my clients lash growth which we can see from the before photos she has lashes that grow down, with a few simple tips and tricks I’ve learnt while starting my journey as a lash tech, I was able to get my client a lift that speaks for itself even with her naturally downturned lashes.

Here are some of the tips I use every time I’m in the salon.

1.) Do not rely on product times, everyone’s lashes are different, make sure you check your lashes using the U method.

2.) Make sure the waterline is not showing during a lash lift. (Make sure the lid is not flipped) this will result in a weak curl

3.) Always reglue the lashes to the lash shield after step 1 before applying step 2 so no lashes are missed.

If you’ve got a holiday coming up, this is the one to save. There’s very little worse than spending good money on your lashes and then watching it give up halfway through the trip you booked it for.

Here’s the honest truth. Heat, chlorine, sun cream and sea water will test any lashes, and a rushed or cheap one rarely survives the first proper swim.

When it’s done properly, with the right products and a bit of know-how behind it, yours should still be looking lovely in your photos on day seven, not just day one.

That is the difference good work makes when it actually matters.

My little insider tip is all about timing. Book your appointment around 3 days before you fly, so everything has had a chance to settle and is sitting at its absolute best as you head off, rather than still fresh and finding its feet. I’ll also talk you through exactly how to look after it in the sun, so you come home with your holiday glow fully intact.
