As we are planning on opening a community cafe as part of Wellness Works, ive been looking at coffee. To keep costs low im looking for a good coffee thats affordable and will be enjoyed by all. We will have the cappacinos, the lattes and frappes etc. But we thought we would ask you, bare in mind the picture is just for show!
What coffee would you lile to see served.
One of the reasons i have started with Wellness Works, isaac and raymond my grandsons. Raymond is 4 years old non verbal autistic. I have lived with nuerodivergent children since my son was born. I thought after 30+ years there would be more support for those living through this. There isnt and thats just one of the reasons i started this. Please follow the page to see more reasons behind this group and i believe its important to the community to get this up and running. Please follow my page to keep updated with my other reasons.
Lets see if we can get some interaction in this group.
Right totally off subject but i found this quite funny for some reason. I was asked, what is the most common things found in a junk drawer? So,,im now asking you. Write in the comments ans lets see if we all havw the same things

What do you find is the hardest with your child?
07/08/2026
Are you a parent, grandparent, guardian, carer, or sitter of a child with additional needs or challenging behaviour?
Your child doesn't need a diagnosis or formal certificate. If daily life can sometimes feel overwhelming, exhausting, or isolating, I'd love to hear from you.
I have all the equipment ready to create a welcoming support group — I just need the right space to make it happen.
The idea is simple: while the children enjoy soft play and sensory activities in a safe environment, adults can relax with a free cuppa, chat with others who understand, share experiences, exchange advice, and build a supportive community together.
Sometimes the greatest support comes from knowing you're not alone.
If this is something you would be interested in, please comment below or send me a message. Together, we can create a space where both children and their carers feel welcomed, supported, and valued.

Have you ever felt stuck in the same four walls, seeing the same people every day, or spending too much time on your own?
Are you a parent who would love to enjoy a hot cup of coffee while your children play, isolated, lacking confidence, or simply looking for somewhere welcoming to belong?
Do you have teenagers who could benefit from positive activities, life skills, volunteering opportunities, or just a safe place to spend time away from negative influences?
If so, Wellness Works Community Hub CIC wants to help.
Our vision is to create a community hub in Seaham Harbour where people of all ages can come together, enjoy activities, access support, learn new skills, make friends, and feel part of their community. We plan to offer a community café, sensory space, workshops, creative activities, support groups, volunteering opportunities, and much more.
We are also looking for volunteers who would like to help make this vision a reality. Whether you can spare a few hours a week or simply want to support your community, we would love to hear from you.
One of our biggest challenges right now is funding. If you are able to make a donation, no matter how small, every penny will help us move closer to opening our doors and supporting local people sooner.
Together, we can create something special for Seaham.
