Life has been full lately… in the best way. 🤍

Between being a mam, working in the NHS and running the clinic, there’s been so much going on. We’ve been launching our new skincare memberships, welcoming a new PMU artist into the clinic and working on lots of exciting things behind the scenes.

And while I absolutely love the busy seasons, today was a little reminder that it’s important to make space for yourself amongst it all too. 🫶🏼

So today was about slowing down for a few hours — a book by the pool, lovely food, a treatment and absolutely nowhere I needed to rush off to.

I think so many women can relate to life just being… busy. Work, family, appointments, the never-ending to-do list — and somehow that little bit of time for ourselves gets pushed further down it.

So here’s your reminder that you’re allowed to make time for YOU too. 🤍

Book the facial. Have the coffee. Read the book. Take the spa day.

Whatever fills your cup. 🫶🏼

When did you last have a proper day just for you

If your lip filler has started to look more like a shelf than a lip… this is for you 👄

Filler migration is SO common, and honestly, sometimes you don’t even realise it’s happened until you look back at old photos.

Maybe your lips have started looking puffy above the lip line, your Cupid’s bow isn’t as defined anymore, or you feel like you keep adding filler but they never quite look how you want them to.

Sometimes the answer isn’t more filler.

When I see migration, I’d much rather be honest with you. In some cases, the best option is to dissolve the migrated filler, allow everything to settle and then — if you want to — carefully refill with a shape that suits your natural lips.

And dissolving doesn’t mean you’ve “ruined” your lips or have to go back to having no lips at all. 🤍 It can simply give us a cleaner foundation to work from.

My aim is never to give you the biggest lips possible. I want people to look at you and think “she looks amazing”, not “she’s had filler.”

Natural-looking lip filler isn’t about putting 1ml into every pair of lips.

Sometimes less is more. It’s about looking at your anatomy, your existing filler (if you have any), your proportions and what will actually suit your face.

I’d much rather build your lips gradually than rush to add more. And sometimes my advice might even be to wait, dissolve old filler, or not add anything at all yet.

Can I tell you about one treatment I honestly think more people over 35 should know about?

Everyone automatically thinks they need filler, but a lot of the time it’s not actually volume that’s the issue. It’s that we’re losing collagen every year, so our skin just isn’t as firm or bouncy as it used to be.

That’s why I love biostimulators.

Rather than just filling an area, they encourage your own body to make more collagen. It takes a little time, but that’s what makes the results look so natural. People often just say you look fresher or ask if you’ve changed your skincare.

I always say I’d rather help your skin age better than keep chasing lines with more filler.

They’re not for everyone, and they’re definitely not a quick fix, but if you’re starting to notice your skin looking a little more tired, less firm or just not quite like it used to, it’s definitely a treatment worth chatting about.
