A little note about TPO 🤍

I’ve had a couple of messages regarding TPO in gel polish following some recent posts circulating on social media, so I thought I’d pop a little information here for anyone who may have questions.

TPO is an ingredient that has been used in some gel nail products to help the gel cure under a lamp. Following changes to regulations and product formulations, many newer gel products are now being manufactured without TPO.

As I have a large existing Halo Gel Polish collection, some of my older bottles do contain TPO, while newer/reformulated colours are TPO-free.

I am gradually transitioning my collection as colours need replacing, but I won’t be immediately replacing my entire existing collection.

If you would personally prefer to avoid TPO for any reason, that’s absolutely fine 🤍 Just let me know before your appointment and I can show you which of my current colours are TPO-free. Please be aware that this will mean your colour choice is more limited at the moment.

As always, if you have a diagnosed allergy or have been advised by a medical professional to avoid a particular ingredient, please let me know before your appointment.
