It’s not every day I get to work with masses of long, thick hair - I loved it! 🤍
It’s like an extra little challenge, making sure every piece is perfectly in place without making the bun too full or using too many pins. It’s all about finding that balance and creating something that feels secure and effortless.
A little behind-the-scenes tip - I always use my GHDs to curl the hair before creating an updo. They’re super quick and I’m not looking for a perfect curl at all. I just want to add some movement and texture to the hair, which makes the styling process so much easier and helps everything sit nicely.
There’s something extra satisfying about creating a beautiful style with lots of gorgeous hair to work with! 🥰✨

I had the absolute pleasure of doing drag makeup for my darling friend Rich - aka Trash Bag Trish, ahead of their iconic set in the Banqueting Hall. I’m no drag artist but when Rich asked for help, my niece and I stepped in to get them show-ready.
The performance was absolutely iconic, the crowd absolutely loved it and I was one proud friend watching Rich completely smash the show. It was such a special moment getting to work alongside my niece too who’s an aspiring MUA. 🖤
My drag makeup skills definitely need some work, but considering it was a quick turnaround in a field without my usual kit… I don’t think we did half bad! ✨💄🌈
Things I’ll NEVER do as your bridal hair & makeup artist… 🤍✨
❌ I’ll never charge to stay for touch-ups. I’ll be with you until you’re ready to walk down the aisle.
❌ I’ll never create a schedule that’s too tight. I always build in at least an hour of breathing room before you need to leave.
❌ I’ll never promise something I don’t believe is realistic. Whether that’s squeezing in too many people or agreeing to an impossible timeline, I’ll always be honest because your morning deserves to be calm - not chaotic.
❌ I’ll never take on more than I can handle. If your bridal party needs extra hands, I’ll bring a second (or even third!) artist so everyone is ready on time.
❌ I’ll never arrive late.
❌ I’ll never turn up looking unprofessional. I’m always polished, fresh and ready to make your wedding morning feel special.
❌ I’ll never sit back if there’s a problem I can help solve. Need a dress sewn? A tangled necklace fixed? Shoes that are rubbing? I’ve got you.
❌ I’ll never book another client after your wedding. I’m not rushing off - I want to be there right until you’re ready.
❌ I’ll never make changes without checking with you first. If someone wants something completely different from the agreed look, I’ll always ask for your permission first.
