I know we're just into August but it's about now you need to start thinking about making sure your skin is prepared for the change in season! Hydration, antioxidants, skin barrier and the ever essential SPF are all important areas to think about. Sunscreen use hit the news this week as apparentley social media claimed they may cause cancer. This has been dispelled by health experts who worry baseless claims could discorage use of sun protection products. Eminence SPF products use mineral sun protection providing broad spectrum protection up to SPF50+.
Zinc oxide reflects away UVA and UVB rays which are harmful to the skin but did you know it also has soothing and calming skin benefits too. We encourage you to use SPF daily especially right now during heatwave number 4 and where possible opt for mineral SPF over chemical.

This is turning out to be a rather sunny summer and whether you love it or are not quite so keen on the heat .... we hope you get to enjoy it. We are going to be closed on Fridays starting the 24th July back to normal the week commencing the 7th September, 2026, so we can enjoy some summer time fun too. We will be here Monday to Thursday as normal and wish you a wonderful summer, whatever you get up to.
