Back in April I spent the day at Wella Studio Manchester with Nikki Clifford for her Lived-In Luxe Blonde class.
I booked it because I wanted to move away from over-foiling. There's a habit in this industry of adding more — more foils, more sections, more lift — when the answer is usually less, placed better. That was the whole class. Smart placement. Knowing where the light needs to fall and trusting that the right few sections do more work than a full head of foils ever will.
It was such an amazing day. I've used what I learned on every lived-in blonde in my chair since — and I love what it's doing.
Education is everything for me. The qualifications on the wall aren't the end of anything — they're a starting point.
