Fresh Combo Brows are meant to look darker and more defined at first.

As they heal, the colour softens, the intensity fades and the brows settle into a much more natural finish — 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼𝘀.

That’s why we don’t choose the colour based only on how we want them to look on Day 1. We choose it with the 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁 in mind.

Too light at the beginning can mean too little colour once healed.

𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁. 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁.

Refinement takes time.
𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀.

𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘃𝗮𝘀.

This client had previous PMU and removal treatments elsewhere, but some residual pigment remained in the skin.

When old pigment can no longer be fully removed, creating a new set isn’t simply about covering it. We need to understand the underlying colour first, then carefully select pigments to neutralise and balance what remains before rebuilding the brows.

But not every set of old brows can — or should — be worked over. If the existing pigment is still too dark or saturated, 𝗳𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽.

That’s why an in-person consultation is always recommended for previous PMU. It allows us to assess the colour, saturation, skin and what is realistically achievable before deciding the best way forward.

It’s completely normal.

Especially with Powder Brows and Combo Brows, soft shading creates more coverage than individual hair strokes, so the brows naturally appear more defined immediately after treatment.

The pigment is carefully chosen for how it will heal beneath your skin, not how it looks on the surface today. As your skin heals, the colour softens and settles into the result we planned together.

Some pigment also sits on the surface of the skin during the procedure. As this naturally sheds over the following days, the brows become softer and more natural.

Healing isn’t a waiting period.

8(almost 9)years ago, I began my SPMU journey in Hong Kong.

In 2022,I move to the UK with family and start a brand-new chapter.

Moving to the UK meant starting from zero again. Different faces, different cultures, different beauty standards—but the same passion for creating brows that truly belong to the person wearing them.

It wasn’t always easy, but looking back, I’m so grateful for every single person I’ve met along the way.

Many people choose a brow colour based on what they like at the time.

But semi-permanent makeup isn’t quite the same as makeup.

Pigment heals within the skin, not on top of it. This means the colour you see immediately after treatment isn’t the colour you’ll see once it’s fully healed.
That’s why the chosen pigment is often slightly deeper than the desired healed result.
