I’m Vanessa, the founder of Mawulisa 👩🏽‍🔬

I’ve always had a passion for natural ingredients and the magic they bring to our skin and wellbeing. After 8 years in the cosmetic industry, I wanted to create something more personal, products that are simple, effective, and lovingly handmade.

That’s how Mawulisa was born ✨ A space where I share my love for natural skincare and wellness through soaps, body butters, oils, and other lovely products, all crafted with care.

But Mawulisa is also about community 🤝 Among my creations, you’ll also find handmade accessories made by other members of our Collective (based in France and Togo) that share the same values of craftsmanship and authenticity.

Ever noticed a slight difference in the scent of your body butter from one jar to the next? That’s actually a sign it’s the real deal 🌿

We use only use natural ingredients, like cocoa butter, shea butter, coconut oil, and essential oils, which means no synthetic fragrance stabilizers, no artificial masking. Just nature, as it is.

The scent of a natural ingredient can change slightly depending on the region it was harvested from, the climate that season, or even the soil where it grew. It’s a bit like wine; each harvest has its own character 🍃

We embrace these small differences as part of working with nature, not against it.
Each batch is still handcrafted with the same care.
