For this transformation, Beth created a beautiful full head of foils using a combination of blonde and darker tones to add depth, dimension and a more natural-looking finish 🤍

Beth created this lush look with a full head of highlights, a bold hidden panel of black and plenty of short, choppy layers to create movement and texture ✨

The contrast between the icy blonde and the darker underneath section gives this look so much personality. From some angles it’s soft and bright, but with a flick of the hair, that hidden colour peeks through for a completely different vibe🤩

The truth is, sun, chlorine, saltwater and even air conditioning can take a toll on your hair while you’re away. A few simple habits can help keep it looking and feeling its best throughout your trip.

Here are some of our favourite holiday hair tips:

🌞 SPF isn’t just for your skin
Your scalp and hair can be affected by UV exposure too, so a UV protection spray is well worth popping in your suitcase

📅 Book your colour before you fly
Freshly coloured hair always feels amazing when you’re heading off on holiday and it means you’re photo-ready from day one

🧴 Take a treatment mask with you
A quick treatment once or twice during your trip can make a huge difference, especially if you’re spending lots of time in the pool or sea.

🧴 Be careful with sunscreen around your hairline
Certain ingredients, including avobenzone, can sometimes cause unwanted tones in blonde hair.

🎀 Pack a silk scrunchie
They’re much gentler on the hair and can help reduce breakage and tangles.

🏊 Wet your hair before getting in the pool
Hair that has already absorbed clean water won’t soak up as much chlorine or saltwater.

👒 Don’t underestimate a good sun hat
