Our natural lashes go through their own growth cycle. Each lash grows, enters a resting phase and eventually sheds, making room for a new one.

Many women notice changes in their hair during autumn. When it comes to eyelashes, it’s important to pay attention to their condition and remember that increased shedding can have several different causes.

To zdania, które słyszę w gabinecie bardzo często.

Patch test, czyli próba uczuleniowa, polega na nałożeniu niewielkiej ilości produktu na mały obszar skóry, aby sprawdzić, czy pojawi się niepożądana reakcja.

👉 Co możemy zaobserwować?
• zaczerwienienie
• swędzenie
• pieczenie
• obrzęk lub inne zmiany skórne

Wykonanie patch testu zajmuje około 5 minut, a powinno się go wykonać minimum 48–72 godziny przed planowanym zabiegiem, aby dać skórze odpowiedni czas na reakcję.

Warto jednak pamiętać, że patch test nie daje 100% gwarancji, że podczas właściwego zabiegu nie wystąpi reakcja.
Podczas zabiegu stosujemy większą ilość produktu i pracujemy na większym obszarze skóry.

👉 Czy mimo to warto wykonać patch test?
Zdecydowanie tak.

These are phrases I hear very often in the salon.

A patch test is a precautionary allergy test where a small amount of the product is applied to a small area of skin to check for any unwanted reaction.

👉 What can we look for?
• redness
• itching
• burning
• swelling or other skin changes

A patch test takes around 5 minutes and should be carried out at least 48–72 hours before your scheduled treatment, allowing enough time for a possible reaction to develop.

However, it is important to remember that a patch test cannot guarantee that a reaction will not occur during the actual treatment. During the treatment, a larger amount of product is used and applied over a larger area.

👉 So, is it still worth having a patch test?
Absolutely.

At Elegant Parlour, a patch test is mandatory for new clients before their first treatment, where required for the particular treatment.

It only takes a few minutes, but it is an important part of preparing for your treatment and an additional step in looking after your safety.

🤎 Jak przygotować się do makijażu permanentnego brwi?

Odpowiednie przygotowanie przed zabiegiem ma znaczenie dla Twojego komfortu oraz procesu gojenia skóry.

🔹Kofeina

W dniu zabiegu unikaj kawy, napojów energetycznych oraz zielonej herbaty.

🔹Leki i suplementy

Przed zabiegiem nie przyjmuj witaminy C ani leków przeciwbólowych bez wcześniejszej konsultacji.

Jeśli przyjmujesz aspirynę lub inne leki wpływające na krzepliwość krwi, koniecznie poinformuj mnie o tym przed zabiegiem.

Jeśli masz jakiekolwiek wątpliwości dotyczące przyjmowanych leków, najlepiej skonsultuj się ze swoim lekarzem.

Pamiętaj również, aby poinformować mnie o wszystkich przyjmowanych lekach i suplementach.

❗Nie pomijaj żadnych informacji, które mogą mieć znaczenie dla bezpieczeństwa zabiegu.

🔹Słońce i solarium

Unikaj opalania, intensywnej ekspozycji na słońce oraz korzystania z solarium przez minimum 4 tygodnie przed zabiegiem.

🔹Henna i stylizacja brwi

Nie wykonuj henny ani intensywnej stylizacji brwi przez około 4 tygodnie przed zabiegiem. Brwi powinny mieć możliwość powrotu do swojego naturalnego wyglądu przed wykonaniem zabiegu.

🔹Patch test

Patch test jest obowiązkowy. Zabieg może zostać wykonany wyłącznie przy braku reakcji alergicznej.

🔹Karta zabiegowa

Przed zabiegiem konieczne jest zapoznanie się z kartą zabiegową, jej wypełnienie oraz podpisanie.

🔹Antybiotykoterapia

Po zakończeniu antybiotykoterapii należy odczekać minimum 2 tygodnie, a zabieg wykonać dopiero wtedy, gdy jesteś w pełni zdrowa.

🔹Botox

Po zabiegu Botoxu należy odczekać 4–6 tygodni przed wykonaniem makijażu permanentnego brwi.

Jeśli masz jakiekolwiek pytania lub wątpliwości dotyczące przygotowania do zabiegu, poinformuj mnie przed wizytą. 🤎

How to prepare for permanent eyebrow makeup?

Proper preparation before your appointment is important for your comfort and the healing process.

🔹Caffeine

Avoid coffee, energy drinks and green tea on the day of your procedure.

🔹Medication and supplements

Do not take vitamin C or painkillers before the procedure without prior advice.

If you take aspirin or any other medication that affects blood clotting, please make sure to inform me before your appointment.

If you have any concerns about medication you are taking, it is best to consult your doctor.

Please also inform me about all medications and supplements you are taking.

❗Do not leave out any information that may be relevant to the safety of your treatment.

🔹Sun exposure and tanning beds

Avoid tanning, prolonged sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 4 weeks before your procedure.

🔹Henna and brow shaping

Avoid henna and intensive brow shaping for approximately 4 weeks before your procedure. Your brows should have time to return to their natural appearance before treatment.

🔹Patch test

A patch test is mandatory. The procedure can only be performed if there is no allergic reaction.

🔹Treatment form

Before your procedure, you will need to read, complete and sign the treatment form.

🔹Antibiotic treatment

After completing a course of antibiotics, please wait at least 2 weeks and make sure you are fully recovered before having the procedure.

🔹Botox

Please allow 4–6 weeks after Botox before having permanent eyebrow makeup.
