Meet Emma 💙
One of our incredible Advanced Nail Technicians, Emma has a huge wealth of knowledge and experience and consistently creates beautiful sets of nails 💅🏼
Also trained in waxing, pedicure and massage, she is one of our “ladies with many talents!”
Emma was new to the team earlier this year but you wouldn’t know, she is the perfect fit for our team and you guys are keeping her fully booked 😍

1. What’s your favourite treatment to DO?
— Gel nails of course 😂

2. If you could book yourself in for one treatment at The Beauty Room tomorrow, what would you choose?
— Deep Tissue Massage; back & neck 💆🏼‍♀️

3. What’s your number one beauty/skincare non-negotiable?
— Environ Super Moisturiser

4. What treatment/product do you wish more clients knew about?
— Gel nails home care; cuticle oil & hand cream

5. What would you say is your specialist subject at work?
— Sculptured gel nails, a bespoke service for my clients

6. What are you most likely to be found doing when you’ve got 10 minutes between clients?
— Quick dash to the loo, wash hands, coffee & catch up with the team

7. Coffee/tea/drink order of choice?
— Movha or cortado me loves!

8. What are you currently obsessed with outside of work?
— No obsessions, but I do love a lovely long walk with my 11 year old Phyllis (Labrador!)

9. Tell us one completely random thing about you that clients probably don’t know.
— I am a bronze medalist in Shotput for GB in the first World Olympic Games — the U20 age group. Of course, coached by the legendary Geoffrey Lewis Capes ♥️

10. Finish this sentence: “If I wasn’t a beauty therapist/receptionist/etc., I’d probably be…”
— I always wanted to wear a white lab coat! I wanted to be a plant embryo culture technician scientist for a local company but unfortunately I didn’t get the job. So I continued a career in beauty instead. BUT! I did eventually get to wear my white lab coat when I trained in Semi Permanent makeup a few years later!

Meet Bec 💙
The smiling face that will greet you at reception for part of the week! Our receptionist team is a split team effort and Rebecca is our Part A! She doesn’t just answer the phone & book your appointments though, she is also the person behind the beautiful window displays, keeping up with the stock ordering and sending out your online orders — amongst other things that Lou gets her to tap into 🥰💻

1. What’s your favourite treatment to DO?
— As a receptionist I don’t offer any treatments but I love to share my product knowledge and offer advice to clients about their skincare routines [as I am professionally trained in all our retail!]

2. If you could book yourself in for one treatment at The Beauty Room tomorrow, what would you choose?
— An Environ facial, I just love the way it makes my skin look and feel refreshed again.

3. What’s your number one beauty/skincare non-negotiable?
— Environ AVST moisturiser!

4. What treatment/product do you wish more clients knew about?
— Skin care supplements! I take Skin Youth Biome everyday and it really makes a difference, not only to my skin but my gut health.

5. What would you say is your specialist subject at work?
— Customer service 😂

6. What are you most likely to be found doing when you’ve got 10 minutes between clients?
— DIY, processing online orders, window displays, making coffee’s, being the Boss’s full time PA 😂😂

7. Coffee/tea/drink order of choice?
— Caramel latte

8. What are you currently obsessed with outside of work? — My new kitten 😻

9. Tell us one completely random thing about you that clients probably don’t know.
— I actually hate having a pedicure! Can’t stand people touching my feet!

— A window display dresser 💁‍♀️😂
