Why are nanos still one of my FAVOURITE extension methods? 🤍
Because sometimes you don’t need a full head of extensions to make a BIG difference.
For some of my clients, as little as 80g of nanos is enough to add that missing fullness through the sides and ends, fill out finer areas and completely change the overall look of their hair.
And this is what I love about nanos! I have so much control over where I place the hair.
But does that mean I’ll always recommend nanos? Absolutely not.
Sometimes a Volume Row with a different method is the better option.
It all comes down to YOUR natural hair, the result you want, how you wear your hair and your lifestyle.
I’m not here to fit as much hair as possible.
I’m here to choose the right method, right amount of hair, right placement to give you a result that looks like it belongs to you.

Hair extensions do not have to be just a full head!
This client came to me, and when she first started coming to me she was looking for a little bit more length and a full head which at the time we went for because for her to go longer in length she needed the weight to support it.
So we went for 140g of nano hair extensions and in the length 16”. As time went on we ended up cutting these extensions to the length of her natural hair and so when she decided to go lighter I gave her the option of a volume row instead which is what we’ve done here.
80g of nano hair extensions in 3 different shades from Viola Hair Extensions and you wouldn’t even know she had hair extensions in. We just thickened up her ends but also gave her that little bit of volume around her hairline as well.
Volume rows can also be good for just helping hold a curl or style in your hair and also take away the frizz look that can happen a lot with humidity etc. that’s another reason this client opted for a volume row. She tends to have a bit of frizz within her hair but once the volume row is applied this can be less visible as well and it holds a better style with just as little as an extra 80g of hair.
Save this post for someone who struggled with any of the above but also if you know someone that would benefit from just as little as 80g. It’s my most popular method.
