I love the treatments and the creativity so much but I love my ladies so much more. It brings so much purpose to be able to chat about the things we chat about, share what we share but to just check in with someone and meet their needs, in a world that can be harsh, is just so fulfilling!

You never truly know what people are going through behind closed doors. Life is not easy but if we can do one thing a day to make someone else’s life better (no matter how big or small) then that’s enough!

Hybrid tinting doesn’t always need to leave a heavy skin stain or to “too dark”.

Tinting is a really important element of a brow treatment and it’s important to take colour AND depth into consideration.

I own a wardrobe of tints because there are so many on the market (all with their own benefits and differing results). What works for one person won’t work for another but it really does make or break your treatment outcome.

Brow waxing aftercare is important to keep your skin happy!

18 months ago I went through a season where I quietly fell out of love with my work. Something just felt “off” and I really couldn’t put my finger on it. I rebranded & redecorated my studio thinking that I would miraculously solve the problem - but it didn’t (obviously).

I could not find the drive or the motivation which I have ALWAYS had….that ability to push forward even in the face of adversity. Something had changed and shifted and I had no idea what to do or how to “fix” the problem. Not because of the job itself - but because the focus had drifted…

From peace to performance
From self-acceptance to external validation

I had to ask myself some really hard questions - “What does a beauty business offer if it only feeds vanity? How can I sell a service to people based on what they look like when I know and believe the value of a person goes far deeper than that?”.

This led me down a rabbit hole…when a problem arises I NEVER just sweep it under the carpet. I sit with it deeply and will not stop until I have found the solution (no matter how hard it is or how long it takes). You see this wasn’t about the job itself. It goes further than that. The world had changed, I had changed and my perception of the industry completely changed with me. Things weren’t falling apart - they were shifting into alignment.

I am rebuilding with intention now.

Beauty was never meant to tell us who we are - only to gently serve who we already are.

I’ve learned that self-love is not ego, and service is the heart of meaningful work.

That is the foundation and the rock I’m choosing to build on.

Bringing more purpose to something that can actually make a difference to how you feel.

Life is meant to have meaning, find it in the small things too.

Skincare is advancing - so it is imperative we educate ourselves on the chemicals we are putting onto our skin & brows and how they can impact one another.

I’m not a skincare specialist and I won’t pretend to be. However, I use really advanced skincare myself and have done some digging on how this can affect my job - which is to ensure your brows stay healthy (especially when having chemical treatments).

If you are using any actives or acids then it is important that you are mindful of how that can affect your brows & your brow treatment. More and more girls have recently told me that they have been using thick creams, acids and retinols on their brows and to be completely honest, it isn’t going to do your brow hair any good. This can be frustrating but with the right education you can have the best of both worlds.

Always treat your brows first and keep them separate to your skincare. It is a really simple hack that can protect your brows and prevent any damage from chemical interactions. Hair is not skin and vice versa!

Korean Lash Lift….transforming eyes in 75 mins!

Lash lifting should be a really relaxing treatment. We decided to have a silent treatment with a heavy weighted blanket, relaxing music and a room full of peace and restoration.

Treatments that soothe the nervous system as well as make the eyes pretty are what you need to escape a busy life!

Lauren is a girl who knew what she wanted - from the first message there was a very clear idea of what she expected from the treatment and how she wanted her brows to sit on her face.

Lauren naturally has really big brows which aren’t too dense but were quite light in comparison to her hair colour (why we didn’t take a before picture I don’t know). She wanted thinner brows that appeared darker and denser but had a very clear structure that would hug her face shape, create angles and appear more “feline”!!

I laminated first, fully mapped the shape so Lauren had fill approval before I even touched her with the wax and then we precision tinted at the end within the brow shape to give that super dark and defined look!

I loved creating these so much!!!!
