✨ A Few Little Salon Updates and reminders ✨

To help everything run as smoothly as possible for both myself and my lovely clients, here are a few important updates. 💗

🤍 Chrome Nails
Chrome will now be an additional £3 unless it is being applied instead of gel overlay.

💳 Bank Transfer Payments
If you’re paying by bank transfer, please ensure payment is made at the end of your appointment. Chasing outstanding payments takes up a lot of time, so I’d really appreciate everyone making payment promptly. Thank you for understanding! 🫶

📲 Online Booking System
I’ve been incredibly busy lately (thank you all! 🥹), which means replies to messages can sometimes take a little longer than I’d like.

To make things easier and quicker, please use my online booking system where you can:
✨ Book new appointments
✨ Reschedule appointments
✨ Cancel appointments
✨ View your upcoming bookings
✨ Deposits or appointment payments
✨ Patch testing
… and many more

💅 Nail Repairs
I offer free nail repairs if you let me know within 48 hours of your previous appointment.

After the 48-hour period, repairs will be charged at £5 per nail.

🩷 Patch Tests
When booking online, it clearly states if your treatment requires a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment. This applies to certain lash and brow treatments.

Please ensure your patch test has been booked or arranged in advance. This can easily be done through my online booking system free of charge.

Unfortunately, I no longer have the time to chase clients to arrange patch tests. If a required patch test has not been completed at least 48 hours before your appointment, your appointment will be cancelled and cannot go ahead.

Arriving early 🕣
Please let me know if you arrive more than 5 minutes early for your appointment by sending me a message before coming in. This is because I may still be with another client, who may not feel comfortable with someone else waiting in the room, or I may be on my lunch/dinner break.

Piercing consent form ✨⭐️

When you come to EDM Beauty for your piercing, one of the first things you’ll be asked to do is complete this customer registration and consent form. 🖊️

This isn’t just paperwork—it’s an important part of making sure your piercing experience is as safe and smooth as possible.

The form helps me to:
💎 Check your medical history and identify anything that could affect your piercing or healing.
💎 Ensure you’re suitable for the piercing you’ve chosen.
💎 Record your chosen piercing placement.
💎 Confirm you understand the aftercare advice needed for healthy healing.
💎 Obtain your consent before carrying out the procedure.
💎 Keep accurate records in line with professional hygiene and safety standards.

Your safety will always be my number one priority, and taking a few minutes to complete this form helps me provide you with the best possible care from the moment you walk through the door until your piercing is fully healed. 🤍
