✨ Updated Deposit Policy ✨

I’ve made the decision to update my deposit policy to a 50% non-refundable deposit for all colour, hair extension and appointments over 2 hours.

This wasn’t an easy decision, but as a self-employed hairdresser, this is my only source of income and I have to protect my business.

Over the past few weeks we’ve had so many late cancellations and no-shows in the salon. Unfortunately, when this happens, it’s time and income that I can’t

I completely understand that emergencies happen, and I’ll always do my best to be understanding where I can. But I hope you can also understand why this policy is now necessary.

This lovely client is 70 years old and had been struggling with age-related hair thinning. She’d lost so much confidence in her hair that she wore it tied up all the time and thought she’d be turned away for extensions.

After a thorough consultation, I was happy to fit 50g of 16” Beauty Works Invisi Tip Nano Bonds, custom coloured into this dreamy pastel purple because, in her words, she wanted to look like a mermaid. 🧜‍♀️💜

Seeing her confidence come back and watching her smile again is exactly why I love what I do. Hair is so much more than just hair. ✨

This is exactly why I always say trust the process.

When my client first came to me, she had multiple layers of black/brown box dye. We started with a strand test to see how her hair would lift while making sure we maintained its strength and integrity.

After the first lightening session, her hair lifted warm (which is completely normal), but it stayed in amazing condition. We gave it a healthy cut, reassessed with another strand test, and created a plan for the next appointment.

Fast forward to her final visit… ✨ Soft dimensional blonde, custom highlights and lowlights, a bright money piece, and healthy, shiny hair that she absolutely loves.

Every colour correction is different. Some can be achieved in one appointment, while others take multiple sessions depending on the starting point and most importantly what the hair can safely handle.

Healthy hair will always be my priority over rushing the process. 🤍
