Art and Education by the Sea index Sculpture by the Sea/ Cerflun ar lan y Mor is an environmental arts group based on the Swansea Bay - Blackpill to Mumbles coastline. Specialising in environmental workshops for schools and communities, annual festival and site specific sculptures for the foreshore.

🌿 How do you measure a year of farming for nature?

In its first year, the Welsh Government's Ffermio Bro scheme has supported 84 projects across 200 farms in Wales' National Parks and National Landscapes, helping to create, restore and enhance 🌿 hedgerows, 🌳 woodlands, 🐸 ponds, 💧 waterways and 🪨 drystone walls.

🌿 These projects are delivering practical benefits for wildlife, landscapes and local communities, while supporting farmers and land managers 🚜 to care for some of Wales' most special places.

📍 The report also showcases a range of individual projects, including Great Pitton Farm in Gower, where virtual fencing is helping to support conservation grazing 🐄 and habitat management 🌾 while improving livestock safety.

🌿 Sut ydych chi'n mesur blwyddyn o ffermio ar gyfer natur?

Yn ystod ei flwyddyn gyntaf, mae cynllun Ffermio Bro Llywodraeth Cymru wedi cefnogi 84 o brosiectau ar draws 200 o ffermydd ym Mharciau Cenedlaethol a Thirweddau Cenedlaethol Cymru, gan helpu i greu, adfer a gwella 🌿gwrychoedd, 🌳coetiroedd, 🐸 pyllau, 💧 dyfrffyrdd a 🪨 waliau sychion.

🌿 Mae'r prosiectau hyn yn cyflwyno manteision ymarferol ar gyfer bywyd gwyllt, tirweddau a chymunedau lleol, wrth gefnogi ffermwyr a rheolwyr tir 🚜 i ofalu am rai o leoedd mwyaf arbennig Cymru.

🌌 Gower's stunning night skies are in the spotlight!

✨As an International Dark Sky Community, Gower is recognised for its exceptional night skies and the work taking place to protect them. By reducing light pollution, supporting dark sky friendly street lighting, and monitoring the quality of our night skies, we're helping to preserve one of Gower's most special natural assets.

🌙We're delighted that photographer Magnus Huber has captured the beauty of Gower's night sky in the international DarkSky Capture the Dark photography competition. His stunning images showcase why protecting our dark skies matters and help share Gower's unique night-time landscape with a wider audience.

✨Fel Cymuned Awyr Dywyll Ryngwladol, mae Gŵyr yn cael ei chydnabod am ei hawyr dywyll eithriadol a'r gwaith sy'n digwydd i'w gwarchod. Drwy leihau llygredd golau, cefnogi goleuadau stryd sy'n gyfeillgar i'r awyr dywyll a monitro ansawdd ein hawyr y nos, rydym yn helpu i warchod un o asedau naturiol mwyaf arbennig Gŵyr.

🌙Rydym wrth ein bodd bod y ffotograffydd Magnus Huber wedi llwyddo i gyfleu harddwch awyr y nos ym mhenrhyn Gŵyr yng nghystadleuaeth ffotograffiaeth ryngwladol DarkSky Capture the Dark.
