I am really hoping the ‘cowboy copper’ trend makes a comeback for Autumn because it is my favourite colour!

Just look how rich and beautifully shiny it is, swipe for the before and see the difference ➡️

Might be my next colour? 🤔

Swapped the copper out for something darker 🖤
What do you think? Yes to dark or bring back the copper? 🍑

Hair is never ‘just hair’. It’s mood, memory, identity and a whole lot more. It grows with you, changes with you and tells a story all of its own, but alongside you.

“I’m just so happy to have my life back.”

I received the most gorgeous message from a client recently and I really wanted to share it, because this is exactly why I am so passionate about working with endometriosis in a deeper way.

This is the bit people often don’t understand about endometriosis...

It is not just “bad periods”.

It is the life admin around the pain.
The fear of being caught out.
The planning.
The panic.
The wondering whether you can work, travel, parent, socialise, exercise, go away, or simply leave the house because your period might floor you.For so many women, the cycle starts running the show. And this is why my approach to endometriosis is never just, “What can we give for pain?”

Of course we want pain relief. Nobody wants to be curled up with a hot water bottle feeling like their pelvis is running the show. But if we only chase the pain, we miss the terrain that allowed the pattern to become so deeply embedded in the first place.

With this client, we didn’t throw everything at her.
She completed one detox course and then one follow-up prescription. That was it!

BUT...the work was targeted.

Her history showed a long layer of hormonal suppression from the contraceptive pill, alongside the endometriosis picture, bowel symptoms, breast pain, heavy clotty periods, low mood, brain fog, disrupted sleep and anxiety.

So we followed the symptoms; Not the diagnosis alone.

This matters because endometriosis is rarely just a uterus issue.
In my experience, we often need to think about:

• the hormone picture
• the liver and how hormones are being processed
• the bowel and whether the body is clearing properly
• old medication layers, especially years of hormonal suppression
• inflammation and immune regulation
• the emotional and nervous system load held around the cycle

Because the body is clever. Annoyingly clever sometimes.

If the liver is overloaded, the bowel is sluggish, the nervous system is braced, and the hormonal system has been suppressed for years, the pelvis can become the place where all of that pressure shows up. This is why I often use homeopathic detox alongside constitutional prescribing.

The detox piece helps the body recognise and clear old layers that may still be influencing the system. The organ support helps the pathways actually do the work. The constitutional remedy helps the whole person shift; not just the pelvis, not just the period, not just the pain.

And this is the bit I love most: when it works, the result is not just “my pain is a bit better.”

It is:

“I don’t have to plan my life around my cycle anymore.”

That is HUGE! That is freedom from symptoms.

That is a woman being able to work, travel, move house, live her life and not be silently calculating where she’ll be on day 1 of her period.

This is the really important bit the remedy chosen, is not chosen because someone has endometriosis.

It is chosen because of the person.

Their timeline.
Their triggers.
Their bowel.
Their bleeds.
Their hormones.
Their nervous system.
Their history.
Their response to stress.
Their unique pattern.

That is where the gold is.

Endometriosis work needs depth. It needs patience. It needs us to stop treating the uterus like it is misbehaving in isolation and start asking, “What is the whole system trying to tell us?”

Because sometimes, when we support the body properly, the cycle stops being something to dread. And that changes everything.

If you are living around your period, planning work around your pain, or feeling like endometriosis has taken over your life, this is the kind of work I love to do.

You are welcome to message me if you would like to explore working together, or pop any questions about endometriosis, detox work or homeopathy in the comments.
