As many of you may have seen, there have been recent changes to regulations affecting certain nail products containing HEMA and TPO in the UK.
As always your safety has always been my highest priority. I want to reassure you that I only use high-quality, professional products and will always ensure they comply with current UK regulations.
Where necessary, I have updated my product range to use compliant alternatives that continue to provide the same high standards of performance, durability and beautiful results you expect. These changes are designed to improve product safety.
If you have any questions about the products I use or the new regulations, please don't hesitate to askβI'm always happy to discuss them x

Summer nails π πβοΈ x
Hey ladies! βοΈ Summer is in full swing, and while I want you out there living your best life, your gorgeous gel manis need a little extra love right now. To keep your sets looking flawless and lifting-free until your next appointment, here are three quick rules to live by:
β1. Watch Out for Sunscreen! π§΄
βThat SPF is a lifesaver for your skin, but itβs an absolute enemy to your top coat. Many chemical sunscreens contain ingredients that can degrade, stain, or completely dull that fresh shine.
βThe Fix: Try switching to a non-greasy or matte-finish formula when you're outdoors. Most importantly, always wash your hands or use a wet wipe to clean your nails right after applying it to your body!
β2. Avoid "Thermal Shock" π§
βI know there is nothing better than plunging into a freezing cold pool or grabbing an ice-cold drink when you're baking in the sun, but sudden, drastic temperature changes are a recipe for lifting. When your hot hands hit the cold, the gel contracts while your natural nail expands.
βThe Fix: Try to let your hands cool down a bit before diving in, and hold your iced drinks by the cup, not the ice!
β3. Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate!π§
βThe sun and chlorine will absolutely parch your skin. When your cuticles get dry and dehydrated, they shrink away from the nail, which causes the gel to lift right at the base.
βThe Fix: Keep those cuticles happy and flexible by applying your cuticle oil daily (keep one in your purse!). Healthy cuticles mean long-lasting nails.
