A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MASSAGE THERAPY
Massage is often seen as a spa treatment, when in fact this is something that has been practiced in most cultures throughout human history. When our bodies are chronically tensed, it has an awful effect on the body and the mind. Blood cannot flow to certain areas due to restriction, meaning we aren’t getting the right amount of nutrients and oxygen to vital area

Soft tissue therapy is a clinical approach to treating pain, tension, and movement restrictions.
Every session begins with an assessment to understand how your body is moving, what tissues are under strain, and what may be contributing to your symptoms. From there, treatment is tailored using a combination of techniques such as soft tissue release, MET/PIR, advanced stretching, dry needling, acupuncture and advanced massage techniques.
The aim isn’t just short-term relief — it’s helping your body move more comfortably and function more efficiently day to day.
If you’ve been dealing with ongoing tightness, discomfort, or a niggling issue that hasn’t fully settled, a targeted session can often make a noticeable difference.

Life gets busy, and it’s easy to ignore the little aches and tightness that creep in day by day.
But your body is always giving you signals — and the earlier you listen, the easier it is to restore comfort and movement.
Soft tissue therapy isn’t just for injuries.
It’s for:
• Ongoing tension
• Postural strain
• Training soreness
• Stress-related tightness
• Or simply keeping your body moving well
If it’s been a while since your last session, this is your reminder to check in with your body.

If you’ve been living with pain for a while, you’re not alone. 🔥
Many people arrive having already tried chiropractic care, massage, stretching, rest, or pain relief — yet the pain keeps returning, shifting, or never fully settling.
This often happens because pain isn’t just about where it hurts.
It’s about how your tissues are behaving, how your body is moving, and how your nervous system is responding.
Soft Tissue Therapy takes a clinical, whole-body approach:
• Identifying restricted or overloaded tissue
• Assessing movement patterns, not just symptoms
• Addressing the underlying drivers of pain
• Using targeted techniques rather than generic treatment
Instead of chasing short-term relief, the aim is to create meaningful, lasting change — so your body can move better, load better, and recover properly.
If pain has become something you’ve learned to “work around,” or live with, then it may be time for a different approach.

Post-Isometric Relaxation (PIR) is a gentle, highly effective technique used within soft tissue therapy to reduce muscle tightness and improve movement — without aggressive stretching.
The muscle is taken to a comfortable position and asked to gently contract.
When it relaxes, the nervous system allows the muscle to lengthen more easily.
✨ The result?
• Reduced muscle guarding
• Improved range of motion
• Less pain and restriction
• A calmer nervous system
Because PIR works with your body rather than against it, it’s especially helpful for people who feel tight, stiff, or sensitive to deeper techniques.

Pain is rarely just where it hurts.
It’s usually the result of:
• Poor movement patterns
• Muscle imbalance
• Overworked tissue
• Restricted joints
• Nervous system overload
Lasting results come from identifying the root cause — not just chasing the pain.
Pain relief shouldn’t be temporary.
Many people experience short-term relief, only for symptoms to return weeks later.
That’s usually because the underlying driver hasn’t been addressed.
In soft tissue therapy, we assess how your body moves, compensates, and loads tissue — then treat accordingly using a targeted, clinical approach.
The goal isn’t just to feel better today.
It’s to move better long term.

Does your heel feel sharp, bruised, or like you’re standing on a stone?
These are classic signs of plantar fasciitis — one of the most common causes of heel pain.
It often presents as:
✔ Sharp pain on the first steps in the morning
✔ Pain after rest or sitting
✔ A bruised, marble-like sensation under the heel
✔ Tight calves or restricted ankle movement
✔ Pain that eases slightly with movement, then returns later
Soft Tissue Therapy and targeted acupuncture points can help reduce inflammation, improve mobility, and relieve pain by treating both the plantar fascia and contributing structures up the kinetic chain.
If these symptoms sound familiar, I can help.
