There are days I question whether I’m doing enough.

Whether I’m giving enough to my children,
Whether I’m giving enough to my clients,
Whether I’m giving enough to the people I love.

Then two messages like these arrive within days of each other.

They reminded me why I started HBJ.

Not just to create beautiful hair……
But to create a place where people feel safe.

Somewhere there is no judgement,
Somewhere you don’t have to pretend everything is okay,
Somewhere you can simply be yourself 🫶🏽

I know I’m not perfect…..

But I will always care.
I will always listen.
And I’ll always do my very best to make every single person who sits in my chair feel important.

What - A - Day 🤍

Long salon days are always worth it when I get to make my ladies feel amazing…..and when my first client turns up with a Strawberry Matcha from Starbucks UK ……you’ve definitely won me over 💚

This is why I don’t always say yes 🤍

When my dear friend first sat in my chair, bleaching wasn’t an option. Her hair was over-processed, the ends were snapped, and rebuilding its health had to come first.

Together we chose to go darker, started a home care plan, and committed to the process.

Today, we took another step ~ creating a softer, more natural colour that will continue to grow out beautifully while protecting the condition we’ve worked so hard to achieve.
