It’s something we hear more often than you might expect.

Not because the treatment takes a long time—it usually doesn’t. It’s because so many people spend months (or even years) wondering, researching and putting it off before finally booking that first consultation.

If you’ve been thinking about treatment but aren’t sure where to start, that’s completely normal.

We’re not going anywhere, and there’s no rush. Whether you’re ready now or simply want to understand your options, we’re here to answer your questions with honest advice and no obligation.

Sometimes the hardest part is taking that first step. The treatment itself is often the easiest bit.

There’s a common misconception that aesthetic treatments come from a place of insecurity. But in our experience, this is rarely true.

You can feel confident in who you are and choose to make a change. Equally, you can decide treatment isn’t for you at all. Both are valid.

At our clinic, there’s never any pressure to go ahead with treatment. That’s exactly why we offer free, no-obligation consultations – a chance to ask questions, explore your options and decide what’s right for you, in your own time.

Because aesthetics should always be about choice, not pressure.

Why do we put treatment off?

“I’ve had it for years.”
“It’s only cosmetic.”
“I’ll sort it another time.”

We hear this so often.

The truth is, many benign skin blemishes are harmless—but that doesn’t mean you have to just live with them if they’re bothering you.

Whether it’s catching on clothing, affecting your confidence, or you’re simply tired of seeing it every day, it’s okay to decide that enough is enough.

There’s never any pressure to have treatment, but if you’d like to know your options, we’re always happy to offer honest, impartial advice and help you make the decision that’s right for you.

✨ Sometimes, the first step is just having the conversation. To book a consultation, visit the link in our bio ✨

Sometimes it’s not the big things. It’s the little things we quietly adapt around.

The skin tag that catches on your necklace.
The one you avoid in photos.
The one you’ve been meaning to ask about for years.

Most skin tags are completely harmless and don’t need treatment. But if it’s bothering you, catching, irritating, or simply making you feel less comfortable in your own skin, that’s reason enough to explore your options.

You don’t need to justify wanting a change, and you don’t have to dislike yourself to choose treatment either.

Our latest blog, The Little Things We Stop Noticing, explores why we often live with these small frustrations for so long—and why it’s okay to decide you’re ready to do something about them.

Q. Should I postpone my aesthetic treatment because of the heatwave?
A. Possibly. Possibly not…
Aesthetic treatments don’t stop for summer—but treatment planning is key.

Periods of prolonged heat can affect your skin’s barrier, increase UV exposure and influence the healing process following some treatments.

Rather than applying the same approach all year round, we adapt our recommendations to your skin, your lifestyle and the conditions at the time of treatment. Because the right treatment, at the right time, with the right aftercare, will always deliver better results than following a fixed plan.

If you’re unsure whether the recent hot weather may affect your appointment, we’d much rather you ask than worry. We’re here to help. Reach out in the comments, DM or follow the link in our bio ☀️

The recent heatwave has seen scorching temperatures hitting highs of over 36 degrees, and for some, avoiding the suns rays will have been impossible.

If the sun has caught you out and you’ve ended up tanning or burning, here’s what you need to know:

👉🏼 please be honest with us: if you’re tanned or burned, we need to know. Treating tanned skin with laser or IPL significantly increases the risk of blistering, pigmentation and scarring.

👉🏼 No laser or IPL for 4-6 weeks after tanning.

👉🏼 SPF is non-negotiable. Opt for SPF 50, reapply regularly & wherever possible, avoid direct sun exposure to the treatment area/s.

If you’ve got an appointment scheduled and you’ve caught the sun, have a visible tan or a concern, get in touch with a DM or via the link in the bio. Your safety is our priority and we will be happy to discuss, advise or reschedule for you 😎

A safe space 🌈

There’s a lot of talk online about safe spaces, and if you know, you know. But if you don’t, here’s what that means to us:

A space to be yourself.
A space where your pronouns are respected.
A space to imagine who you’ve always dreamed of being.
A space to explore affirming treatment.
A space without judgement.
A space where you feel seen, heard and valued.

We know that seeking treatment can feel vulnerable. Our commitment is simple: to provide a space where you can show up exactly as you are and receive treatment with respect, compassion and humanity.

If this matters to you, we’d love to welcome you.

TANNING AND LASER - what you need to know…

The weather is doing its finest impersonation of ‘might need a coat this morning, could get sunburnt on the school run this afternoon’ recently, but did you know the impact tanning has on laser treatment? The risk of pigmentation changes, burning, blistering and potential scarring or discolouration means tanning and laser is a big no no.

Whilst we’re never going to advocate for tanning, some treatments are still safe after sun exposure, such as electrolysis. If you’re interested in laser treatment but not sure what that means for you with the ever changing weather, you can find our more in this months blog via the link in our bio ☀️

Happy pride month 🏳️‍🌈

Whilst pride marks the landmark stonewall riots that were a catalyst for change in rights for the LGBTQIA+ community, we’ve been reflecting on how pride isn’t always rainbows & joy for everyone - there is still a long way to go for equality.

However you identify, whether you celebrate pride or have more complex feelings on it, we are proud to offer a space where you can be yourself, without judgement.

What to do if you’re concerned about your skin

If you’ve noticed something new or changing on your skin, do you know what to do next?

If you’ve noticed

👉🏼 A new growth or lesion
👉🏼 an area that isn’t healing (>4 weeks)
👉🏼 a change in skin texture or colour, or persistent itching that hasn’t resolved -

Take photos, and see your GP. Checking your skin regularly is such an important step in early detection of changes. Always take photos of anything you’re unsure of to track and monitor changes, and if unsure see your GP. A dermatology specialist will be able to assess the concern and where necessary take appropriate action. Early detection saves lives.
