Can you have a Russian manicure if your skin is sensitive? 👀

The answer isn’t simply yes or no—because every client’s nails and surrounding skin are different.

Some clients have thicker cuticle tissue, while others have skin that is thin, dry or easily irritated. That’s why I assess each client individually and adapt my technique using lighter pressure, fewer passes and careful preparation where needed.

A detailed manicure should never mean treating every client in exactly the same way. Sometimes, less really is more. 🩷

What actually happens at a hard-gel rebalancing appointment? 💅

As your natural nails grow, the structure of your gel set moves forward with them. At your appointment, I check each nail, remove any lifting, prepare the nail, and rebuild the shape and balance before applying your chosen colour.

It’s why a rebalancing appointment is more than a colour change—and why I take the time to assess what each nail needs. 🤍

That set was created using HONA Sheer White Hard Gel, with Ocean Beach & Aqua Detail Paint — and I didn’t top coat over the detail work, I just let the Detail Paint finish do its thing ✨

For this new purple set I used - of course HONA Sheer White hard gel again and the colours were:

Yuleberry • Black • Gossip • Nova Cat Eye ✨
