FIRST SESSION – SPMU REMOVAL ✨

For this first session my focus was on targeting and breaking down the dark pigment first. 🖤

📸 These photos were taken immediately after treatment!

During the patch test I noticed that the dark pigment responded to the laser revealing red pigment underneath.

During session two I’ll focus on targeting any remaining dark pigment along with the red pigment that has been revealed.

Remember, SPMU removal is a process! The real fading happens over the following weeks as your body naturally clears away the broken down pigment. 🤍

This tattoo had already undergone 15–20 laser removal sessions elsewhere, with a significant amount of ink still remaining.

The start and end of an SPMU removal journey 💞

My client was unhappy with how her brows had gone over time particularly as the pigment was sitting much higher than her natural brow shape.

After a few removal sessions we finally completed her last session to target that tiny bit of pigment that was still hanging on ✨

From the initial patch test I could see that the pigment was lifting red so we worked in stages.

I removed the darker pigment then focused on the remaining red tones.

What a journey this was but what a result!! 😍 Just look at how much softer and more natural her brows look now.

Sometimes removing old SPMU really is the best way to give your brows a fresh start 💞

Just a little bit of SPMU left and this should be the third and final session. What a difference!

Over time, SPMU can become bold and blocky, and the pigment can fade into a colour you didn’t originally have.
