🚗 Road works will unfortunately be closing Appledore Road during the month of August. But a diversion will be in place for you to still reach our store! We do apologise for the inconvenience as it is totally out of our control but undoubtably means that local businesses will suffer over the busy summer month.

"Key dates:
3–19 August 2026 - trench works
UK Power Networks will be closing Appledore Road to excavate trenches across the carriageway, enabling the new streetlights to be connected.
20–30 August 2026 - resurfacing and drainage works
Appledore Road will be resurfaced between East Hill and Collison Place as part of the Section 278 works funded by the developer. Please note that the resurfacing dates are dependent on the UK Power Networks works proceeding and being completed as planned. Section 278 works."

How to get to Tenterden Garden Centre
"Visiting us? Your journey may look a little different. Due to roadworks, the Appledore Road will be closed. We're very much open and operating as normal, with access to the garden centre via Woodchurch when travelling to us from the Tenterden. We appreciate it's a slightly longer route, but we're well worth the visit, even if we do say so ourselves. Please share with anyone planning to visit us over the next four weeks"
