⭐ What a fantastic couple of weeks for our Talented Athletes ⭐

Our gymnasts, Leo and Kian, became National Champions, for the floor and rings respectfully, during the National Championships in Romania! 🤸 🤸

Matthew recently won a taekwondo silver medal for sparring in his Junior category at the ITF World Cup Championships in Spain! 🥋

Ben was selected for the Kent team for the National County Championships and achieved a personal best time of 1.02 in his 100m backstroke. His Kent team won for the third year! 🏊🏻‍♂️

Our road cyclist, Matthew, finished 14th overall out of 148 riders in the Keizer der Juniores in Belgium. He produced two great stage results with a 6th position finish in the opening stage and second place in the final stage. 🚴

Today, some of the tmactive team swapped their usual roles to volunteer at Royal British Veterans Enterprise (RBVE) helping to get their iconic Tommy figures ready in time for Remembrance Sunday.

It was fantastic to see first-hand the brilliant work RBVE does to support veterans and people with disabilities. Established in 1919, the charity helps people rebuild their lives by providing meaningful employment, homes and supportive communities.

The Tommy figures have become a powerful symbol of remembrance across the country, while also helping to create jobs and opportunities for veterans and people facing barriers to employment.

We were proud to play a small part in helping get them ready for this important time of year. Thank you to the RBVE team for the warm welcome and for everything you do to support our veterans.

Looking to build confidence in the water, develop swimming skills or progress to the next Swim England stage? Our private swimming tuition offers focused, individual attention to help both children and adults make progress at their own pace.

With a range of session times available, you can find an option to suit your needs:

> Rachael: 26–30 October at 8am
> Janet: 26, 27, 28 & 30 October, sessions every half hour from 10.30am to 12.30pm
> Megan: 27–30 October, sessions every half hour from 1pm to 3pm
> Erika: 26–29 October, with sessions every half hour from 11.30am to 2pm

WANT TO BE A LIFEGUARD?

We run NPLQ courses for those aged 16 years and over. This national qualification will enable you to work as a Lifeguard at any public pool and is a requirement for a number of jobs including Centre Manager.

The courses comprise of physical training and theoretical classroom work, followed by a practical in-water and out of-water assessment on pool rescue, first aid, CPR and lifesaving skills. 2027 Course run Larkfield Leisure Centre as follows:

• Monday 5th April - Saturday 10th April
• Monday 19th July - Saturday 24th July
• Monday 9th August - Saturday 14th August
