How people feel about their scars and marks from illness and surgery varies a lot. For some they are battle wounds to feel proud of but for others they are a distressing daily reminder of a very difficult time in their lives that can hold them back from moving on.

Radiotherapy spots are small tattooed markers made during cancer treatment and used by the radiographer to accurately line up the radiography machine in order to match and treat exactly the same area each session.

They are usually found at the side of the breast and/or directly in the middle of the breasts- some as tiny as pin points and others the size of small dots.

You don’t have to live with your radiotherapy spots if they make you feel unhappy- they can be removed safely with laser treatment 💖

We would start off with a consultation to meet each other and discuss the process, this would then be followed by a patch test to ensure there are no contraindications to treatment!
