She’s been wanting to try this look for ages, so today we went for some discreet raccoon sections through her hair.

I love that you can make this trend as bold or as subtle as you like — we kept hers softer so it gives that little flash of something different without taking over her whole look. 😍

This lovely regular lady came in today for her grey blending appointment. ❤️

We added a few carefully placed weaves to blend and brighten her natural grey, followed with a toner to keep everything looking soft and beautifully blended.

Finished with a trim, blow-dry and style. ✂️✨

✨ COLOUR CORRECTION ✨

This lovely lady is actually my daughter ❤️

She’s been a very busy lady lately and, in between everything else, had resorted to box dyeing her hair 😱🤣

As you can see, the colour had become quite patchy and uneven. She wanted to go blonder, brighten everything up and add a gorgeous money piece around the front.

So we went in with a full head of weaves, carefully lifting and blending the previous colour to create a much brighter, more even blonde.

And what a difference! 😍
The money piece really brightens her face and the finished colour looks absolutely beautiful ❤️

We finished with a trim, blow-dry and style ✂️

Another reminder that correcting box dye can be a process — but with the right products, techniques and patience, beautiful results can be achieved. ❤️

✨ BOX DYE TO BEAUTIFUL WARM BRUNETTE✨

This lovely new client came to me after years of box dyeing her hair… and she’d also had a little accident involving a burning candle 🕯️😳 — we’ll say no more about that! 🤣

Strangely enough, the colour she wanted was very similar to one she’d spotted on my Instagram… ON ME! 🤣🤣🤣 I’ll take that as a compliment!

She has fine, naturally curly hair, so protecting the condition was really important. Because of the previous colour and the burnt area, I decided not to use bleach. Instead, we carefully colour-stripped the old artificial colour before applying a gorgeous warm auburn shade. 🧡🤎

After colour stripping, the finished colour can initially appear a little darker, but it will gently lift and settle with washing.

We also gave her hair a lovely cut, bringing those curls back to life and getting the shape and condition looking beautiful again. ❤️

She left absolutely loving her colour, her curls and the condition of her hair — exactly what we wanted!

And the moral of the story? 😉

Around a year ago, after enjoying her gorgeous bright reds, she decided it was time to start the journey to blonde. ✨
