The insane face card that is… the stunning Lily ✨

What an absolute dream this look was to create. Just look at that smile and that gorgeous face 🥹🤍 Standing proudly by her best friend Faye on her wedding day, being the ultimate bestie.

Lily wanted flawless glam, with a little smoke through the eyes and lush, chiselled cheeks, but for me, it was all about creating that with a really refined, seamless finish.

The blending was everything with this look. I didn’t want the eyes to have an obvious start or finish; just soft, diffused definition that melted effortlesslyyyyyy into the skin 🪄

And the skin… like butter ✨ Smooth, polished and oozing with radiance, catching the light beautifully while still allowing Lily’s GORGEOUS features to do all the talking.. I mean, how bloody stunning is she! ✨🫶🏼

How beautiful does this girlie look?! 🥹

Those gorgeous green eyes were absolutely stunninggggg, so I got to work weaving the perfect tones into her makeup design to make them pop 🪄 softly, subtly and without overpowering her features 🫶🏼

For me, makeup is so much more than what you see on the surface. It’s careful, intricate layering. Understanding how products work together, how to build them precisely for longevity, how to work with the undertones in someone’s skin… and, just as importantly, knowing when to put the brushes down and not overdo it.

This look is everything I love about makeup.

It oozes simplicity, but there’s so much thought behind every little detail. Gorgeous warmth, softly defined eyes, beautifully polished skin ✨ and still completely her.

Another year, another diary… and I still feel so grateful that this is my job. 🤍

Being invited into the wedding planning excitement, and all of those special little moments of a wedding morning is something I will never take for granted. Every bride, every family and every morning is completely different, and after all these years, I still feel incredibly lucky to be a small part of such an important day. And now… 2028 brides, it’s your turn! 🥹✨

✨ Gorgeous bridesmaid Nicki, ready to be the pretty bridesmaid for a very special day ahead at the amazing Dodford Manor Barns Wedding Venue ✨ just look at her ✨😍

It was such a pleasure working with this lovely lady. Like so many of us, Nickie had a few little things she was conscious of and wanted me to take into consideration when creating her glam.

So, I listened. I took my time to talk her through my method and the plan for her look, because more than anything, I wanted her to relax, trust the process and know that we were going to get it just right 🪄 🪄 🪄
