Hiya

Ive only got 19 more work days remaining at the shop.

I can confirm my last day will be Saturday 29th August.

My first day will be Friday 4th September.
It will be sadness mixed with a bit of happiness. Im looking forward to working from home, but building my little business up from scratch from that massive empty shell, to where it is now makes me feel very blessed that I have been able to continue trading despite a few setbacks including Covid shutting me down after only 8 weeks of being open.

This is all thanks to my amazing clients who have continued to support me from day one along with newer customers that have remained with me for quite some time.

I have heard other barbers before moaning about this and that and forgetting that without out clients we would not have a business. Some people need to go and do customer service training.

I believe my customer service or actually my bonkers brain 🤣 has got me through the tough times and i genuinely have an amazing relationship with my clients. I do think they councel me sometimes though when it is supposed to be the other way round, but in my opinion it is a 2 way relationship and I am the most important 🤣🤣🤣. When I need to talk, I definitely need to talk as everyone already knows.

I need a model with dark brown hair who would let me try some hair fibres on him.

The only catch is, I must take a video of before and after.

Ive been offered these to try and if they are good, I might stock them .

The company has amazing reviews and the products aren't tested on animals as they are made of cotton. If anybody wants to try them out in return for a video please let me know

Lil fade for one of my younger clients. Most clients know i don't take photos of kids hair very often and put them on my socials hence why his face is covered.

🚨 UPDATE 🚨
Well... my master plan has gone completely out the window! 🤣
I was going to keep everyone in suspense until my last couple of days before revealing my new business name. But thanks to needing new leaflets printed for all my lovely clients (with my new social media details on), I've been forced to spill the beans earlier than planned.
The last thing I want is to print thousands of leaflets, then discover someone has pinched my new social media usernames while I was trying to be all mysterious! 😂
So... after nearly 7 years, it's time to say goodbye to The Barber Station. 😢
I'm not crying... you're crying! (Well... maybe just a little! 🤣)
They do say all good things come to an end... but they also say every new beginning starts with a fresh trim... or something like that! 💈😂
So, here we go... onto the next chapter.

I also currently have separate social media accounts for my barbering and training. These will now come together to create one brand ready for when my garage conversion to Barber Studio is completed

I have these combs for sale now. I use these a lot especially with the dust powder. I always get asked if I have any for sale and I never have. So now I do😁. The ones i used to sell before were £5 each. Due to finding a good supplier, I can now sell them for £3 each. They are available at the shop if anybody wants to purchase one

I reckon 3-2 England. Its going to be a tough one. I really hope they do it. The last time they was in a world Cup final was 1966.

Regarding work, I've been really busy the last few weeks and doesn't look like its dropping off any time soon.

This Saturday i am fully booked and have 5 clients on the cancellation list.

I have 2 appointments available Saturday 1st August 1.15pm and 1.45pm

So far i have good availability on the 15th and 22nd August. My potential last day 29th August is Fully booked

Just to let you know, my hours are shorter over the next couple of weeks because of the building work on the conversion. I am not working Tuesday and Thursday morning this week and Thursday morning next week. Hopefully should be back to normal after that.

The floor is down now and stud wall is in progress.

I am aiming for 29th August to be my last day and hoping to re-open my studio on the 3rd September. This will be confirmed once the building work is finished.

Everything is changing and all clients will receive leaflets at some point with new details on.

There will be a new name, new logo, new number, new branded hair products, new barber chair and obviously address change.

The only downside, you have to keep the same old me with my potty mouth 🤣🤣

Morning all. How many hangovers do we have today😂😂

Boring stats here for the football haters😂. Apparently its only the 3rd time in our history that we have reached a semi final.

Mass well done to England for playing like they’d rather be anywhere else but on a football pitch, but somehow they still sneaked through. That was definitely top rate survival football . It felt like the manager had put plasters on them just to stop the bleeding and see them through the game until they got proper treatment to mend their broken skills🤣🤣

I agree it was hot, so I'll forgive them😆. I couldn’t run around like that in that heat, but if they give me a few million quid, I'll definitely try my best 🤣🤣

Well at least they won and didn't have to take their plasters off and lick their wounds. Still a massive achievement getting to the semis and I really do think they can go all the way if they up their game.

I had an omen this is that they was going to win on the 60 years, so hopefully i will be proved right.

Oh and massive well done to Jude our hero. What a superstar he is and in my opinion best player of the tournament and possibly in the world at the moment. Classy player who isn't even at his peak yet.
