📚🌶️ Coven S**t Club is evolving… and we’d love you to join us.

From October, Coven S**t Club is moving online!

Life has got busier for all of us, but we couldn’t imagine letting this incredible little community disappear. So instead, we’re bringing it into a dedicated WhatsApp group where we can still obsess over fictional men, scream about plot twists, recommend books, and make new friends… just without the pressure of getting everyone in the same room.

✨ Here’s how it’ll work:
📖 One book each month (anything from cosy romance to the darkest fantasy).
💬 Our dedicated book chat will come alive on the last Sunday of every month, giving everyone time to finish the book before the spoilers begin.
📚 From January 2027, you’ll help choose what we read with community book recommendations.
🎃 And because the friendships we’ve built mean too much to lose, we’ll still organise the occasional meet up when we can. Think Halloween, Christmas dinners and any excuse to get together.

Whether you’ve been with us since the beginning or you’ve never picked up a romantasy in your life, you’re welcome here.

Coven has always been about more than beauty. It’s about community, finding your people, and creating a space where everyone feels at home. Dearest Spicy Readers, 🌶️📚💕

This is one of the hardest posts we’ve had to write.

After three wonderful years, September will be our final in-person Coven S**t Club meeting.

When we first started this little book club, we never imagined what it would become. What began as a handful of people getting together to chat about books has grown into such a lovely, supportive, hilarious community. We’ve laughed until we’ve cried, collectively swooned over fictional men, recovered from devastating plot twists together, and somehow always ended up talking about absolutely everything as well as the book.

So many of you have become familiar faces, friends, and such a special part of my month. Watching this community grow has genuinely been one of my favourite things we’ve ever been part of, and we can’t thank you enough for helping make it what it is.

Sadly, life has become busier for all of us. Between changing schedules, work, family commitments, and everything else adulthood likes to throw our way, organising a time that works for everyone has become harder and harder, and attendance has naturally become smaller because of it.

After a lot of thought, we’ve realised that we can’t keep giving the in-person club the time it deserves.

But this isn’t goodbye.

The one thing we absolutely don’t want to lose is you.

The friendships, the recommendations, the chaotic reactions, the endless GIFs, the debates over morally grey book boyfriends, and having a place where we can all be unapologetically excited about reading.

So from October onwards, Coven S**t Club will become an online-only book club, with all of our monthly discussions taking place in the WhatsApp group instead.

In a lot of ways, we think this will make our discussions even better. Everyone will have the chance to share their thoughts without people accidentally talking over each other, you can join in whenever suits you, and nobody has to worry about missing a meeting because life got in the way.

The format is changing, but the heart of this little community isn’t.

We’d love for as many of you as possible to join us for our final in-person meeting in September so we can celebrate everything this club
