Sometimes the best way forward is to take a little step backwards first 👀

This patient came to us with lip filler that had migrated and started to distort the natural shape of her lips 💋

Rather than trying to add more filler on top, we dissolved the existing filler, allowed everything to settle, then refilled at a later appointment with a much cleaner starting point!

Filler dissolving can be considered for a number of reasons. It may be migration, unevenness, lumps, overfilling, an unwanted result, or simply because the filler is no longer sitting where we want it to.

Or you may just not want filler at all anymore (which is okay, honestly!)

But importantly, dissolving doesn’t automatically mean “no more filler.” Sometimes it’s about clearing the canvas so we can reassess the area properly and, if appropriate, rebuild more carefully later.

Every case is different, so we’ll always assess you first and talk through whether dissolving, waiting, adjusting or leaving things alone is the most appropriate option.

Permission to be a brutally honest for a second before we resume to our regular-scheduled programming another day 😂👀

Because we’ve tried to be flexible with our cancellation policy - but this just isn’t sustainable for us as a business.

When you book an appointment, that time is reserved specifically for you.

We plan our diary around it.
We account for that income.
We make sure the correct products are available.
We prepare the room, the equipment and our time.

When an appointment is cancelled at short notice, we often cannot fill that slot again.

That means the income disappears, but the costs do not ❌

We still have clinic rent to pay.
Machines and equipment to finance.
Products, insurance and utility costs to cover.
And yes, we need to pay ourselves too (we have to eat, sorry)

We love what we do, but the clinic is still a business. And it cannot run if we regularly absorb the cost of last-minute cancellations.

That is why we need to remind everyone:
▫️Appointments cancelled with less than 72 hours’ notice will be charged at 50%.
▫️Appointments cancelled on the day will need to be paid in full.

This policy is not there to punish anyone. It is there to protect our time, our income and the future of the clinic.

We completely understand that genuine emergencies happen, and individual circumstances will always be treated with compassion. We’re not monsters!

But changing your mind, forgetting the appointment or cancelling at the last minute because you’ve double booked yourself has a real impact on our business AND those who have genuine unavoidable emergencies who need our kindness, compassion & flexibility.
