This bod can do HARD things!
22/09/2026
If you’re running Berlin this weekend, swipe through this one before you go 🤍
Race day is hard, yes. But you already know that. What people don’t see is everything that happened before it. The early alarms, the long runs alone, the weeks you kept showing up when nobody was watching and nobody was clapping.
That’s the real work. That’s what got you here.
So by now, you’ve already done the hard part 🙌🏼
Berlin is just you getting to enjoy it.
Good luck to every single one of you lining up this weekend, we are SO proud of you already 💛
Tag a friend who’s running and feeling nervous, send them this and remind them they’ve got this 👇🏼

That smile in this photo? Does NOT tell the full story 🤣
That run was HARD. Random fields, random lanes, random everything I deserve a GOLD Duke of Edinburgh just for navigation today.
Training for a marathon is hard. Training for a marathon 6 months postpartum is a whole different ball game 🙈 No pelvic floor issues today though, and that is NOT a small win. That’s everything I would have wished for a few weeks ago 🙌🏼
Progress over perfection, always. Showing up on the hard days is the whole game.
Grateful for this body and everything it’s doing right now 🤍

6 Months of Ted celebrated with a half marathon 🏃♀️
Swipe for some horrendous dreadlocks does anyone else’s hair do this?
We are 5 hours deep into detangling this mess.
Any ideas on how to fix this is very welcome 👀

Heyyy, this one’s for anyone who had a rubbish run this week and is currently spiralling 👀
Friday morning I got a message from Connie. 9 weeks out from Malaga, full of cold, and she’d just had to stop her interval session halfway.
What she said was “not completing sessions is having a big impact on my confidence.”
One red dot. And for a second she let it define her. That is SO human. When you care this much about a goal, one bad session can feel like the whole block just fell over.
So we zoomed out.
The 7 days around that dot: a 5k PB on tired legs (20:35), a 30k long run with 12k at 4:53s and a 10k two days after that where she came 3rd female.
Her whole block: every long run banked, including a sunrise 26k in Pollença in 30 degree heat and a 22.5k the week after chatting to her sister the whole way.
Macros logged every single day of the holiday. She’s completed 95% of this block. Professionals sit around 80%.
And April: Paris, her first marathon, 3:42:43. On for 3:30 until 30k, then the fuelling went wrong and she was sick for 6k. She signed up with me a week later, in the middle of her final year exams.
Since then she’s graduated, PB’d the 10k, PB’d the 5k and stacked up week after week at 100%.
Her inner critic is called Lucas (yes, we name them at TAP, it works). Lucas needs one bad session to write his story and Connie keeps refusing to give him one.
Back in July she wrote this in her evidence journal: “One bad session won’t define the marathon.
Showing up and listening to your body will.” On Friday she just needed reminding she’d already written the answer.
By Saturday morning she was back on the plan, asking what her deload looks like, with a new job and a move to a new city happening this week on top.
Here’s the bit I really need you to hear. Adapting when you’re ill isn’t a failed session, it’s a smart one.
Chasing all green is how you end up with a solid block of red at the bottom.
And this is exactly why having a human coach matters. Not an app. Someone who reads your message on a Friday morning, moves your sessions around, tells you what 95% of a block actually means and stops the spiral before it costs you a week.
I’m looking for 5 marathon runners who want to get to their Spring 2027 start line healthy, confident and properly prepared
That’s it.
If your plan came from an app that has no idea you work shifts, have a toddler, or trained through a heatwave last week...
If you’re stuck in the same loop rest it, come back, get injured somewhere new and nobody’s ever told you why...
If every run feels like the same pace and you can’t work out why the effort isn’t turning into results...
And you’re ready for someone to actually guide you every step of the way...
l’d love to help.
This isn’t another training plan.
This isn’t another session on the app that falls apart the first time life gets in the way.
It’s physio led coaching built around your body, your history and your schedule so your running, your strength and your fuelling finally work together instead of against each other.
To work with me you simply need to:
Be ready to take action.
Be coachable.
Be willing to invest in yourselt.
Soon you could be standing on that start line trusting your body, instead of quietly hoping it holds together.
It you’re ready to stop guessing, DM “START” and I’ll send you all the details.

Focus on showing up, keep going and give yourself the credit you’d give anyone else in your position.
