Today’s treatment focused on subtle, balanced enhancement using 3ml of dermal filler.
We worked on previously treated cheeks and chin, where my goal was to refine the existing filler, improve symmetry, and address unevenness on both sides of the face. I also added volume to the temples to help restore facial balance and create a more harmonious overall appearance. In addition, I treated the pre-jowl sulcus to help smooth the transition between the chin and jawline, contributing to a more balanced facial profile.
For me, aesthetic treatments should enhance natural features rather than change them. A well-planned treatment is not always about adding more product—it’s about understanding facial structure, proportions, and balance.
I also want to touch on something important. Social media is increasingly saturated with heavily edited images and exaggerated results that don't always reflect reality. This can create unrealistic expectations and give the public a misleading impression of what aesthetic treatments can achieve.
As part of my current Level 5 Advanced Aesthetics studies, I'm learning more about the legal and ethical responsibilities within our industry. One of the key principles is that practitioners should not present information in a way that could mislead clients. When unrealistic images are used to promote treatments, it can influence expectations and affect informed decision-making.
My approach will always be to show authentic results, provide honest advice, and focus on safe, natural-looking outcomes that suit the individual.
