Mercedes, Dude, where’s my car?

My new Mercedes-Benz had two flat tyres. What should have been a simple roadside recovery turned into 5+ days without a car, no communication, and no resolution.

Here’s what actually happened:

🚫 The recovery agent drove my car on both flat tyres — no inspection, no warning, no winching
🚫 The car was taken away without explanation or paperwork — and then went missing for 36 hours
🚫 I tracked it on the app: it was left unlocked overnight, and my fuel level dropped — raising serious security and damage concerns
🚫 I received no courtesy car, no onward travel, and no help — even though this is part of the Mercedes Me package
🚫 I’ve now lost over £1,000 in income due to missed appointments — while being told to “be patient”
🚫 And after all that? I was offered a £100 voucher and told the case was closed

👉 It’s now Day 5, and I still don’t know when my car will be repaired or returned.

All I’ve had is delays, confusion, deflection and gaslighting.

Mercedes-Benz claims to be a premium brand — but I would’ve had better service from Del Boy.
