Dermaplaning!
From the 15th of March, a new ritual is joining my practice.
Dermaplaning has been something I wanted to introduce with intention, not as a trend, but as a refinement. A treatment that prepares the skin beautifully and elevates everything that follows.
This is a precise, controlled exfoliation that gently removes the build-up of dead skin and soft vellus hair that can make the complexion look dull or textured. As that veil is lifted, the surface feels smoother, looks clearer, and reflects light in a softer, more even way.
Skin care begins to absorb differently. Serums settle in instead of sitting on top. Masks feel more active. Makeup glides effortlessly and looks more seamless, often allowing you to wear less while looking more polished.
For anyone feeling that their skin looks slightly tired, uneven, or lacking that quiet luminosity, dermaplaning offers a reset without harsh peeling or downtime. It is subtle, refined, and immediately visible.

There is a quiet kind of trust that appears on a trial day.
Not something spoken out loud, but something felt, when you allow another woman to come close and hold your face, your features, your story, with care.
She came with a gentle longing rather than a fixed idea. A wish to feel like herself on her wedding day, with her softness intact and her identity respected. Her eyes carried both her British and her Chinese heritage, and she wanted that connection to remain present, subtle and natural, without needing to be defined or explained.
And when she looked in the mirror, there was no moment of surprise. Just a calm sense of recognition. The feeling of being seen, understood, and gently held exactly as she is.
