Wow, 2 years ago today we were forced to close our salon for the first time!😯

Little did we know then just how long this would last, or that it would be the first of many lockdowns🤦🏻‍♂️

We’re incredibly thankful for the ongoing support and understanding received from all of our clients👏

It’s with great sadness that after the announcement last night, David Jon Hairdressing will be closed until further notice.

Whilst a real shame, we recognise the importance of these steps to ensure we beat this virus and can all get back to some sort of normality as soon as possible.

Jon has done the hair of three generations from this family throughout his 45 year career. Back in June, Jon was delighted to travel to West Wittering to style this clients hair on her wedding day.

This is just fabulous! We had to share!!!
We remodelled a sapphire ring for a customer which belonged to her grandmother. The bride wore it as her something blue for her wedding day……. Over the moon for this beautiful couple! 💙

I owe you the biggest thank you. Wow! My necklace arriving on my wedding morning was the biggest surprise! My hairdresser, Jon, from Worcester used to do my grandma's hair every week and he always does mine and my mum's now. Jon drove down to do my hair for my wedding and your necklace arrived just as I sat down to have my hair done. We were all in tears, Jon recognised the sapphire from my grandma's ring and it was a very emotional moment. Thank you so so much, you went above and beyond to do that for me and I really appreciate it. I look forward to seeing you soon and hopefully designing more stunning pieces.

In light of so-called ‘Freedom Day’ on Monday, we have taken the time to review our COVID-19 guidance.

With numbers still relatively high in Worcester, we have taken the decision to continue enforcing all Covid measures, as we do presently😷

That means:
🧼 we will still ask you to sanitise your hands on arrival
😷 we will still require you to wear a mask to your appointments (unless exempt)
👩‍👩‍👦‍👦 we will continue to limit the number of people in the shop at any one time
🧽 we will continue with additional cleaning after each client

We will review this decision in 4 weeks time, but for the moment, keeping our lovely clients and our stylists safe is our upmost priority💇🏻‍♂️

On a lighter note, we’re sure many of our clients will be pleased to know Dolly will be joining us back in the salon on Tuesday! 🐶

After the longest of lockdowns, we cannot wait to welcome you all back into the salon from Tuesday 13th April! 🗓

The phone will be manned all morning on Monday 12th April for you to book your appointment. You’ll then be able to reach us during normal working hours from Tuesday onwards 💇🏻‍♀️

All covid guindelines will still be in place:

- Please ensure you wear a mask to your appointment.
- Please use the provided hand sanitiser when entering the salon.
- Please wait outside until one of the team meet you at the door.
- Unless essential, you must attend you appointment alone.
