You should only be using purple shampoo a couple of times between your appointments too much can dull your hair and cause a build up .

❌ Hard water with or without softener •

Hard water has a ton of minerals in it that even a softener finds hard to fully filter out. So of course having hard water will cause build up in your hair.

❌ PRODUCT BUILD UP •

Using the incorrect amount of product or using one too frequently can make it difficult to colour where colour doesn’t always grab or lift. (Root touch up sprays are a prime example )

❌ HAIR TOOLS TOO HIGH •

Heat can strip out hair colour , having your tools too high can also increase the risk of damage & hair not taking to colouring well, always use a heat protector.

❌ Good shampoo & conditioner is a must 👍
