CCTV IS IN THE COMMENTS
As most of you have probably seen by now, the TanTastic store was set on fire last night. Police are treating it as arson and our hearts are broken, not just for us, but the residents in the flat above us who have now lost everything and the surrounding businesses who have suffered smoke damage.
To think someone would be that vindictive towards a new business, to not even consider the innocent lives they put at risk is mind boggling to us.
Our Worthing store has only been open a few short months but in that time we have had 3 major incidents affect our business.
First was a break in on the 30th September which resulted in sledgehammers and paint vandalising our store (CCTV IS IN THE COMMENTS)
Second was the 13th October which left our windows smashed by a hammer. (PICTURE IS IN THE COMMENTS)
And thirdly on the 21st October, a fire completely devastating the salon. (PICTURE IS IN THE COMMENTS)
Our 2 owners are not from around this area and so will have to travel long distances to try and sort this out today.
The time and money that went into creating the store to give the best tanning experience for the people of Worthing, our amazing staffs hard work and our fantastic customers has left us truly saddened we can no longer open.
Please bear with us whilst we come to terms with whats happened and we will keep you all as updated as possible as to when we will be allowed to rebuild bigger and better.
If anyone has any information please, please share it. These criminals should not be allowed to wander the streets and owners shouldn't have to worry what new damage there will be to their business when they wake up each morning.
We are offering a Β£5000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
