Tomorrow, SKIN STUDIO turns ONE.

And I'm not going to lie… I'm feeling a bit emotional tonight.

A year ago, I had a little treatment room, a million ideas, a lot of nerves and absolutely no idea whether any of this was actually going to work.

I remember being excited about every single booking.

The first rebooking.
The first review.
The first recommendation.

And the first time I looked at my diary and thought…

Oh my God. I'm actually busy. 🥹

Somehow, all those tiny moments turned into this.

A business that keeps me ridiculously busy.
A room I love walking into.
Clients who started as strangers and now climb onto my bed and immediately start updating me on their lives. 😂

You've trusted me with your skin, your insecurities and occasionally your secrets. 😂

You've recommended me to your mums, daughters, sisters and friends.

You've supported the new treatments, the training, the moves and all the random ideas I've had along the way.

And I'll never be able to properly explain what that means to me.

There have been stressful days, mistakes, tears and plenty of “what on earth am I doing?” moments.

But there have also been moments when I've stood in my little room and thought…

I actually built this. 🥹

Except I didn't do it alone.

You did too.

Sunday plans: absolutely not this 😂

I’m heading into SKIN STUDIO today for a few hours because my waiting list has been getting a little out of hand and I wanted to squeeze a few of you lovely lot in. 🤍

Am I incredibly grateful that, almost a year into SKIN STUDIO, you’re keeping me this busy?
Absolutely.

Am I announcing that I now work Sundays?
ABSOLUTELY NOT. 😂

One of the things I’m still learning about having my own business is when to make an exception… and when to actually switch off.

So today is a little one-off Sunday catch-up, then normal service resumes.

Right… brew, keys, SKIN STUDIO. Let’s go. ☕️🖤

Big day for me today 💉✨

I’ve spent the day completing my anti-wrinkle treatment training, adding another treatment to the SKIN STUDIO menu and another skill to my ever-growing toolkit. 🤍

When I started SKIN STUDIO, I knew I wanted it to become somewhere you could come for your skin, aesthetics and confidence whilst still looking completely like you.

For me, aesthetics isn’t about frozen faces or changing how somebody looks. It’s about subtle, considered treatments, good education and knowing when less is more.

There’s still lots of learning, practising and developing ahead, which is exactly how I like it. I’m really excited for this next chapter of SKIN STUDIO.

And yes… obviously training day required a little drink for the journey home 😂🥤

Halfway through her fat dissolving course… and we’re already seeing a lovely change 👀🔥

You can really see the difference in the shape and definition around the lower face and under-chin area in these progress photos, and we’re not at the finish line yet.

Fat dissolving is a process, not an overnight treatment. Results develop gradually, and this client still has the rest of her course to complete.
