A very exciting new addition to April Louise SPMU… 👀🤍

I’d love you all to meet Scarlett, my new Junior PMU Artist! 🤩

After months of trying to squeeze everyone in & struggling to keep up with the amount of you wanting brow appointments, I knew it was time to grow the team.

Scarlett will be taking on new brow clients, meaning more availability without compromising on the quality, care & experience I’ve built April Louise SPMU around ✨

She trained in brows back in 2022 & has since worked for Benefit & now Charlotte Tilbury, so it’s safe to say… this girl knows brows 👏🏼

But more importantly, she genuinely cares about making every client feel listened to, comfortable & completely looked after, which is exactly how I want things done in my studio.

You know I wouldn’t trust just anyone with my clients or my name, so I’m SO proud to have Scarlett joining me 🥹🤍

And make sure you give her a follow scarlettpoppy.browz because I can’t wait for you to see just how INCREDIBLE she is! 🤩

Cheap pigment can become a VERY expensive problem 👀

And I’m not talking about the price of the bottle.

I’m talking about the correction, colour shifts & potentially multiple laser sessions your client could be left dealing with years down the line.

As PMU artists, our responsibility doesn’t end when those brows look gorgeous & fresh.

We need to be thinking about how that pigment is going to heal, fade & behave in the skin long term.

Your pigment choice matters. Your technique matters. Your knowledge matters.

And these are exactly the things I wish more artists were taught from the beginning.

If you want to deepen your knowledge & make more informed decisions in your work, DM me “TRAINING” for details on my upcoming masterclasses & training courses 🤎

I see a lot of artists thinking more passes = better saturation 🫣

But honestly, more pass = more trauma to the lip.

Going over the same tissue again & again chasing saturation doesn’t get you a better result. It just adds more trauma, which shows up as more swelling & less predictable healing.

This is exactly why I created my One Pass Blush technique 👄

One, controlled pass, with the right depth, pressure & pigment choice working methodically across the lip will still saturate the lip properly without putting it through more than it needs.

✅ Less swelling
✅ Less downtime
✅ Full & even saturation

Do you want lip blush WITHOUT the trauma? Book in with me via the link in my bio & let me show you how my One Pass Blush technique can work for you 🤍

Or if you’re a PMU artist who wants to master this technique, I MAY be bringing out a way to teach you. DM me “ONE PASS” to register your interest 😏

Not to be dramatic, but I think I’ve changed Becky’s life with this soft ombré lip blush!

Becky came to me with pale, undefined lips, uneven colouring and visible Fordyce spots.

I created this soft ombré lip to add definition, balance the colour and soften the appearance of the Fordyce spots beautifully ✨

Before • Matte • Gloss

These are immediately after treatment and will soften as they heal.

Any questions about ombré lip blush, drop them in the comments. To book, use the link in my bio 🤍

There’s no “type” of woman that belongs in my chair 🤍

Whether you’re 19 or 65, whether you wear a full face every day or barely wear makeup at all, what matters is that you want a result that’s been thoughtfully chosen for YOU.

I don’t believe in looking at every client & automatically recommending the same treatment.

Your features, skin, lifestyle & goals all come into the conversation.

That’s why consultations are such an important part of what I do! 🥰

You should NEVER feel like you’re being squeezed into someone’s diary or pressured into saying yes to a treatment you aren’t 100% sure about.

With me, you’ll always get a completely tailored approach, one that’s centred around you, what you actually want & what will genuinely benefit you.

If you’ve been thinking about permanent makeup but have no idea which treatment is right for you, DM me “CONSULTATION” & I’ll send you the link to book yours ✨

My one pass blush technique in action 👄

Not three or four passes. One.

Because the truth is, the more times you go over the lip while blushing, the more trauma you’re causing & therefore the more swollen the lip gets.

Working the lip over & over might feel like you’re “building” the colour properly, but really you’re just working the lip harder than it needs to be worked 🫣

One controlled pass, done properly, means less trauma, less swelling & a healed result that reflects the skill behind it.

If you’d like more info on how to master my one pass blush technique, DM me “ONE PASS” & I’ll send you the details ✨

A fresh set really is only half the skill...

Most trainers teach you the technique, then leave you to figure out the top up on your own.

But I do training differently ✨

When you train with me, I bring you back to see your own model for their top up six weeks later.

Same client, same technique, so you’re not guessing what your work looks like once it’s healed, you’re actually seeing it.

A top up isn’t a repeat of day one. It’s a different skill entirely & it deserves proper guidance too.

That’s the standard my beginner’s course is built on 😌

DM me “TRAINING” & I’ll send you all the info regarding my courses 🤍
