We invite suitable applicants to apply for the Product Development Specialist position which is available within our company. A competent person is required to handle all activities of manufacturing and quality control of our products.

AVOKADO is a Grenadian-owned and manufactured line of skin, body, and wellness products. Our company has a strong sense of value for natural plant-based ingredients that are grown in Grenada. Our products are fortified with high-quality herbs, spices, fruits, and oils that are wholesome and effective. We are seeking a highly driven Product Development Specialist to grow without the company.
General Summary:
The Product Development Specialist will help produce new and unique products, that are on-trend and aligned with the brand vision. We are therefore looking for a highly intelligent individual who thrives in a fast-moving environment, with a positive, can-do attitude.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Product Development Specialist will be responsible for the general operation and production at our production facility
• Sourcing & procurement of raw materials
• Production of cosmetic and wellness products of the brand
• Packaging and labeling
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams in monitoring product performance
Experience & Skills:
• Minimum 5 subjects including Mathematics, English
• Creative thinking skills/problem solving and ability to expedite processes
• Excellent organization, planning, and analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Excel, MS Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
• Science background strongly preferred (or the equivalent combination of educational, professional training, and/or related work experience)
• Experience in botany and product formulation will be an asset
• Manufacturing experience will be an asset
• Work well independently and in a team environment
