Joseph sat in prison for *two extra years* because one man forgot him. *BUT do you know something,*

*God intentionally did that*

Those years saved his life.

*If you're stuck waiting and nothing is happening, this one is for you.*

Here's what happened.

Joseph was in prison, and he *interpreted* a dream for *Pharaoh's* *cupbearer* telling him he will be be *set free.*

And it happened, exactly as Joseph said. Joseph *asked one small favor* in return. When you're out, *just remember me.*

And the cupbearer walked out, went back to the palace, and *forgot him completely.* The Bible says it *plainly* He did not remember Joseph. He *forgot him* . And Joseph sat in that cell for *two more years* .

Imagine those mornings. Every day Joseph wakes up thinking, maybe today. Every night, nothing. A day turns into a week. A week into months. Months into two whole years of silence. His one connection to freedom just forgot he existed.

But here's what Joseph couldn't see. What if the *cupbearer had remembered him the very next morning* ? Joseph walks out, and then what? He's a foreign ex-slave with a criminal record, no family, no job, no money, no influence. *He'd be free, but he'd be nobody. Free and forgotten* .

But Joseph wasn't actually waiting on the cupbearer. *He was waiting on something that hadn't happened yet*.

*Pharaoh hadn't had his dream. And until Pharaoh dreamed about those seven fat cows and seven thin ones, and until every wise man in Egypt failed to explain it, there was nowhere for Joseph to go.*

Then one night, Pharaoh dreams. Nobody can help him. And suddenly the cupbearer says, I remember someone. The memory comes back at the exact right moment.

*Now, they had to release Joseph from prison to come and explain it for pharaoh*

Joseph walks out of *prison* and straight into the *palace* , *second in command of all Egypt.*

( Same door. Completely different future.)

*Now this is what I want u to understand,*

Two years earlier, that door would have given him freedom.

*BUT*

*At God's timing, it gave him a kingdom.*

*So if you're stuck right now and nothing is moving.* don't assume God forgot you. *He might just be holding you in place until the moment your life is actually ready for you.*

TAKE TIME AND READ THIS...

Judah and Tamar — Genesis 38

*Judah* , one of the sons of *Jacob* arranges a marriage between his *firstborn* son *Er* and a woman named *Tamar.* Er *dies* for his *wickedness*, so under the custom of *levirate* *marriage*,
Judah gives Tamar to his *second son,* *Onan*, to raise up offspring for his dead brother. *Onan* *refuses* to *fulfill* this duty and also *dies*.

NOW POOR JUDAH,

Fearing he'll lose his *third son* , Judah *sends* Tamar *back* to her *father's house* , *promising* tamar that, she can marry his youngest son, *Shelah* , once he's grown ( *which means that boy was very young* )— but he(Judah) never intends to keep that promise. He was just lieing so that the lady can go away.

But read this,

Years later, *Tamar* realizing that, she's been abandoned, Tamar disguises herself as a veiled woman and sits along a road where Judah will travel or pass when traveling. Judah got there, and Not recognizing her, Judah sleeps with her, thinking she was a pr******te *..( Now the funny thing is, Judah didn't even have money to pay for the tonga)* which means he chop on credit😀.

He has to give his seal, cord, and staff as a pledge of payment.

Now, the items in the olden days was like an identity card..

Three months later, word reaches Judah that Tamar is pregnant, and he orders she be put to death for immorality.

*(Meanwhile he didnt know that it was his daughter in law whom he slept with and so he is responsible for the pregnancy)* When Tamar heard what her father in-law said, Tamar sends him his own seal and staff, saying the owner of these is the father of the pregnancy.

Judah after hearing this and knowing it's true, admits that , "She (Tamar) is more *righteous* than him(Judah) I"

Tamar gives birth to twins — **Perez and Zerah.*

Perez becomes an *ancestor* of King David and, generations later, of Jesus — he's named directly in Jesus' genealogy in **Matthew 1:3** ("Judah was the father of Perez and Zerah, whose mother was Tamar...").

So this account sits deliberately in the Messianic line

The lesson here for us is that,

this a *reminder* that the biblical genealogy of Jesus includes *flawed* , *scandalous* , and *broken stories* rather than a sanitized family tree.

No matter the family you come from, no matter what has happened in the family,your generation,, I just want you to know this MONDAY MORNING That GOD KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING

AND IF HE,GOD DID THIS FOR TAMER, AFTER ALL THAT HAPPENED, HE CAN DI IT FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY IRRESPECTIVE OF WHAT HAS HAPPENED,JUST BELIEVE IN HIM.

Which of them have you been able to stop?

Are you still entering the next *67%* of the year with these things?

It's not late, you still have time to make a difference.

You can still change.

Others went through tough ones than what you going through,, but they were able to stop because they were focused and determined...
